If you're interested in rush duels then duel links. Because it has rush duels and master duel doesn't have it
if you prefer the irl card game, master duel is better
duel links has way more content and also good pve.
only drawback is that the price of meta decks is higher.
I think they mean content as in events, characters, and stuff to do in-general
Also technically this game does have exclusive cards that aren't in MD or TCG/OCG, obviously ignoring the RUSH stuff (which even that I think has DL exclusives)
Pros:
- Lots of PvE content
- Simple and fast gameplay
- Auto Battle mode
- Rush Duels
Cons:
- Crafting System sucks
- Too many currency
- Lots of items behind pay walls
- Skills can be broken at times
~~Master Duel~~
Pros:
- Extremely Free to Play
- Amazing Crafting system
Cons:
- Events Suck
- Bare Bones PvE content
- Go first or Go home (less in recent times cuz Tempai)
- Maxx C
+600h in Master Duel, +300h in Duel Links. I enjoy the PvE events in Duel Links and Love dabbling in Rush Duels, but making decks in that game is too much of a hassle. Yah, it sucks getting Maxx Ced or watching your opponent play solitaire cuz you have no hand traps, but at least you can make the deck you want. And on the times you win the coin flip, you can force your opponent to watch you combo off
they need to lower the price of boxes for speed.
a full big box of speed costs 200$
and for a deck u need the UR cards 3 times with means u need 600$ for 1 F ing deck.
in real life u have that 600$ deck for 25$.
not acceptable at all !
Master Duel is a pretty good alternative for those who play the physical game in a major scale and since it keeps up with the TCG/OCG in terms of the card pool and don't want to spend a lot of money or better yet...grind the heck out of it, then that's the way to go.
There is nothing to lose, if you like yugioh.
it's also many many thosands to times easier to get new cards in duel links, in master duel you have the buy packs just to find the one you want and even then it's a gamble
Yes and no. Yes, Duel Links has boxes with set cards in them so buying a full box will get you at least one of each card in the box. But those are only half that cards. Some get released as event only, some are tied to ranked tickets, others are random drops from fighting CPUs, etc. It can get very confusing for new players to find where each piece of their deck is found in. In Master Duel you can craft any card in game. Yes the packs are mostly random but you can disenchant any UR/SR you pull that you dont need and use them to craft the ones you do need.
Pro Tip if your playing Mater Duel: Never buy Master Packs. Do some research and find which Secret Pack your archtype is in. It will save you a lot of time and gems
