I can't link my Konami ID to the Steam Game

Hello,

My old phone where I played Duel Links on was broken, so I bought a new phone and want to play Duel Links on it.

I know that I need to link my Konami ID with the game (also Google Play says I don't have an Account there).

I have a very bad experience linking my Konami ID, the Steam version and the mobile version into one thing, because it literally wiped off my first account, so I am very afriad of doing so, but I really want to play Duel Links on my phone again xD I made some recherches and there it's said, if you have screenshots of your last purchases, they'll get your Account back if the Data Transfer fails. Is that true?

So I want ingame to link my game to my Konami ID. It seemed that it worked because it opened a website and ingame I got a message that it went throught. Althought on the website, it still says steam is not linked.

Then I tried to login throught that Konami ID on my phone. I got a message that I need to download like 4GB after log in. When the download finished, nothing happened and there was again a message that it needs to download that 4GB. I did that already 2 times. Nothing happens afterwards and it says that I need to download that 4GB AGAIN.

Maybe that's because I'm still ingame on PC, but I'm scared of loosing that account again if I'll make a misstake with the data transfer.

Can anyone help?

I have a similar problem with trying to link my Konami ID to my Steam game, but it's worse for me since my main game is on my Steam Deck. (It's a long story on that regard.) Honestly, I just wanted to get this down because I want to make sure I can at least transfer my progress over to other PCs later on just in case something happens in the future, as well as to get those gems over and done with already. However, it doesn't help me out if Konami itself can't get me to do so with what I have there.

To be able to play the game on a different PC you just have to log in on the same Steam account (and download the game if necessary). This is the same for all games in your library.

What exactly is the issue?

Both are completely different things

It needed to download the game in-app like 5 times, but on the last time, it finally worked. Super weird. It suchs a bad download launcher too. Like they rerally should introduce background download to mobile...
