Tech Update: Striker Expansion Main BOX!
There’s a new Speed Duel Main BOX in the Shop, and it’s packed with powerful cards for you to add to your Decks! Check out some of the top tech cards that you can use from the Striker Expansion Main BOX!

(1.) Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill
Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill is a new monster whose effect you can activate from your hand during your opponent’s turn. If your opponent Special Summons a monster face-up, you can discard it from your hand to target the monster and negate its effects until the end of the turn. Plus, if that face-up monster leaves the field during the turn you use the effect of Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill, its controller takes damage equal to half its original ATK.

Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill is a lot like Effect Veiler because you can use it to negate the effect of an opponent’s monster. Its effect is a bit more restrictive since you can only target monsters with its effect if those monsters are Special Summoned, but in exchange, you can use Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill’s effect at any time those monsters are Special Summoned, even if it’s outside of the opponent’s Main Phase. In addition, Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill’s impact extends beyond just negating a monster’s effect; it also threatens to take away a chunk of an opponent’s Life Points if an opponent uses that monster in a Link Summon, Synchro Summon, or other type of Summon that would cause the monster to leave the field. Finally, Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill is a Level 3 Zombie-Type Tuner with 1800 DEF, which makes it useful for conducting Synchro Summons.

Effect Veiler is currently a popular card in PvP Duels. Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill will likely be a popular choice for Duelists to use in their Decks as well.

(2.) Sauge de Fleur
Sauge de Fleur is a Level 8 monster with 2900 ATK and an effect that makes it easy to Special Summon. While it’s in your hand, you can target a monster you control and any other card on the field. Sauge de Fleur Special Summons itself from your hand and then destroys both of the targeted cards. This effect not only lets you easily Special Summon a powerful Level 8 monster, but also can eliminate any card your opponent has that is causing you trouble. Plus, this powerful effect is easy for just about any Deck to use.

In addition, if Sauge de Fleur is sent from the field to your Graveyard, you can target 1 other monster in your Graveyard, shuffle it into the Deck, then add a Level 1 Plant-Type monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. This added effect makes Sauge de Fleur particularly powerful in Decks using Level 1 Plant-Type monsters like Glow-Up Bulb or Necro Fleur.

(3.) Fusion Deployment
Fusion Deployment is a new Spell Card that has already been placed on the Limited 3 List due to its power! Fusion Deployment lets you reveal a Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck and Special Summon, from your hand or Deck, 1 of the Fusion Materials whose name is mentioned on that monster. You can’t Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except Fusion Monsters, the turn you activate Fusion Deployment, but for many Fusion-based strategies, this drawback is inconsequential.

Lots of different themes have Fusion Monsters in them, and Fusion Deployment can Special Summon any of their Fusion Materials. You can use it to Special Summon powerful monsters including Dark Magician, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and Gladiator Beast Vespasius. If you’re using Fusion Monsters in your Extra Deck, consider including Fusion Deployment in your Deck to Special Summon those monsters’ Fusion Materials.

The Striker Expansion Main BOX has cards that help to improve specific Decks like T.G., Sky Striker, Dream Mirror, and Gladiator Beast. It also includes awesome tech cards that a wide variety of Decks can use. You can get packs of the Striker Expansion Main BOX from the Shop today and add these cards to your Speed Duel Decks!
