Changing country in Google Play account

Is there any way to change the country of my Google Play account? I've seen that sales are much cheaper outside the EU and I'm looking for a way to set up a cheaper payment method. I've tried switching to the US but it won't let me link my credit card.

Pretty sure they specifically reject linking your card for that exact reason. It's also not unheard of for games to ban for that kind of fraud, so it's probably better not to try if it's a game you're planning to sink time and money into

Oh, I see. Sounds quite reasonable. I've seen so many posts of people getting away with it that I thought it wasn't a big deal. Guess I'll have to stick to good old expensive EU taxes lol

It's probably possible if you go through enough workarounds, and it's probably unlikely that you get banned for it, but steam mods don't approve of discussing such things and I doubt it's worth the risk. Unfortunately, a lot of games I play seem to just have everything priced higher in euros
