New Rush Duel Bundles!

Two new Rush Duel bundles were recently released in the Shop, and each of them features a powerful card for you to include in your Rush Duel Decks! Check out the latest two Special Sets featuring Barrel Dragon and Sword & Shield!

Special Set: UR “Barrel Dragon” Bundle (Rush)

The new bundle featuring Barrel Dragon includes 17 packs of the latest Rush Duel BOX, Card Sleeves featuring the artwork on Barrel Dragon, a Barrel Dragon Icon, and the UR Barrel Dragon Rush Duel card! Barrel Dragon is a Legend Card, so if you use it in your Rush Duel Deck, you can’t use any other monsters that are Legends.

Barrel Dragon is a Level 7 Machine-type monster, which means you’ll need to Tribute 2 monsters from your field to Normal Summon it. Fortunately, since you can Normal Summon any number of monsters each turn during a Rush Duel, that’s easy to do. Barrel Dragon has 2600 ATK, which is one of the highest stats that any monster currently has in Rush Duels. Plus, its effect can take down any monster on your opponent’s field with a little bit of luck! Barrel Dragon’s effect lets you choose a monster on your opponent’s field and toss a coin 3 times. If at least 2 of the results are heads, you get to destroy the chosen monster! Between its high Attack Points and potentially high-impact effect, Barrel Dragon can tear apart an opponent’s field.

Special Set: UR “Sword & Shield” Bundle (Rush)

The new bundle featuring Sword & Shield includes 17 packs of the latest Rush Duel BOX, Card Sleeves featuring the artwork on Sword & Shield, a Sword & Shield Icon, and the UR Sword & Shield Rush Duel card! Sword & Shield isn’t a Legend card, but it is on the Limited 1 List.

Sword & Shield is a Normal Trap Card that you can activate when an opponent’s Level 9 or lower monster declares an attack targeting your Attack Position monster. Its effect switches the original ATK and DEF of the attacking monster, as well as the attack target, until the end of the turn. Then, you can add a Shield & Sword from your Graveyard to your hand. Lots of popular monsters with high ATK – including Multistrike Dragon Dragias, Dragorite, Royal Rebel’s Heavy Metal, Summoned Skull, and Ultimate Flag Mech Ace Breaker – have much lower DEF than ATK, which makes Sword & Shield extremely effective against them. Plus, many powerful monsters like Bendorbreak the Conqueror and Yamiruler the Dark Delayer have high DEF and work well in conjunction with Sword & Shield. Used correctly, Sword & Shield can change the outcome of a battle when an opponent’s monster attacks one of your own.

Shield & Sword is a Normal Spell that swaps the ATK and DEF of all face-up monsters on the field until the end of the turn. Returning it to your hand with the effect of Sword & Shield allows you to reuse this powerful Legend Card. The same monsters vulnerable to Sword & Shield are also vulnerable to Shield & Sword, making both cards a powerful addition to Decks with monsters that have high DEF.
