Special Bundle: UR “Summoned Skull” (Rush) Available in the Shop!

There were lots of Rush Duel cards added to Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS with the recent release of SEVENS World and one of them is only available in the first-ever Rush Duel bundle! This bundle exclusively features Yugi’s mighty Summoned Skull – an iconic card that Yugi Summoned in the earliest episodes of the original animated series.

The Summoned Skull is one of the few Legend Cards currently available in Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS. Legend Cards are special cards that have unique Deck-building restrictions. A Duelist can only include a single Legend Card of each type (Monster/Spell/Trap) in his or her Deck. If you choose to use the Summoned Skull in your Deck, for example, you can’t use any other monsters that are also Legends.

Summoned Skull currently has the highest printed Attack Points of any monster that requires just 1 Tribute to Summon in the Rush Duel format. Since it’s a Level 6 monster, you can Normal Summon just a single monster and then Tribute it to bring forth your Summoned Skull! There’s a good chance that your Summoned Skull will be able to defeat your opponents’ monsters in battle since its Attack Points are so high. Plus, since it only requires 1 Tribute to Summon it instead of 2 Tributes, it’s much more unlikely to get stuck in your hand and prevent you from drawing additional cards in your next Draw Phase. Summoned Skull’s Attack Points are so high that it can even defeat several Level 7 and higher monsters that require 2 Tributes to Summon!

In the earliest days of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME, Summoned Skull was a powerful card that many Duelists included in their Decks because it held the most power you could get by Tributing just a single monster. Now, in the earliest days of Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duels, Summoned Skull has once again emerged as a powerful force for the same reason.
