Feel the Rush in Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS World!
A brand-new way to Duel is here! You can try it out now in Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS World! Only the characters in Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS World can engage in the new style of Dueling. Here’s a quick guide that’ll help you learn all about this new Dueling form – Rush Duels!

Rush Duels are a lot like Speed Duels, but with several key differences that make it an entirely different experience. Unlike in Speed Duels, in Rush Duels you’re allowed to Normal Summon any number of times per turn! By rushing your monsters onto the field, you can quickly deplete your opponent’s Life Points!

Duelists’ starting Life Points are a bit higher in Rush Duels than they are in Speed Duels. While Duelists begin with only 4000 Life Points in Speed Duels, they start with 6000 Life Points in Rush Duels. Even though that may seem like a lot of Life Points, those Life Points can drop to 0 quickly since there’s no limit on how many times a player can Normal Summon!

One of the biggest differences between Speed Duels and Rush Duels is the ease with which players can draw cards from their Decks. In a Speed Duel, you only get to draw one card each turn during your Draw Phase. That makes the decisions about how and when you’re going to use the limited number of cards you’ve drawn extremely important to the outcome of a Duel. But in a Rush Duel, you draw cards until you have 5 in your hand each turn! This rule incentivizes quickly using the cards you’ve drawn, since you can freely replace those used cards with new cards that you get to draw from the top of your Deck on your next turn.

Rush Duels have Spell Cards, Trap Cards, and Monster Cards, just like Speed Duels, but the card pools for each style of Dueling are kept separate. You must include at least 30 cards in your Rush Duel Deck, and can include up to 40 cards in it. Only Speed Duel cards can be used in Speed Duels, and only Rush Duel cards can be used in Rush Duels. Lots of Rush Duel cards have an effect, along with an activation requirement that must be met in order to use that effect.

Some of the strongest monsters currently available in Rush Duels are high-Level monsters that require you to Tribute monsters in order to Summon them. That’s because Summoning monsters and Tributing them for a more powerful one is an easy task in Rush Duels, since you get unlimited Normal Summons and can draw multiple cards from your Deck in a single turn. There are already 4 Rush Duel cards on the Limited 3 List: Multistrike Dragon Dragias, Yamiruler the Dark Delayer, Torna the Windweaver, and Phoenix Dragon. Three of them are Tribute Monsters.

You can get Rush Duel cards from the Sevens New Road Main BOX and Lightspeed Voltcondor Structure Deck, which were both recently added to the Shop. You can also get Rush Duel cards by leveling up characters in Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS World, as random rewards for Dueling, and by redeeming Tickets you can earn from competing in Ranked Duels.
