Selection BOX Vol. 06 is available in the Shop for a limited time! This Selection BOX doesn’t just include reprints of popular cards, but also contains powerful new cards that Duelists can now get their hands on! Check out some of the highlights of cards available for the first time in Selection BOX Vol. 06!

1.) Ice Dragon’s Prison

Ice Dragon’s Prison is a powerful Trap Card that was often used competitively in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME. Now it’s available in Selection BOX Vol. 06! Ice Dragon’s Prison lets you Special Summon a monster in your opponent’s Graveyard to your field with its effects negated. After you do, you can banish a monster from both players’ fields that have the same Type as each other. In most instances, this gets rid of a monster from your opponent’s field and Graveyard, banishing them from the Duel. Ice Dragon’s Prison was immediately placed on the Limited 3 List due to its power.

2.) Mind Control

Mind Control is a simple Spell Card that lets you target an opponent’s monster and take control of it until the End Phase. That monster can’t attack or be Tributed, but it can be used as a Link Material. Mind Control not only gets an opponent’s monster off of their field, but it then allows you to use that monster to help bring out an even stronger monster. Mind Control is available for the first time in Selection BOX Vol. 06, and because of its strength, was immediately placed on the Limited 3 List like Ice Dragon’s Prison.

3.) Dark Armed Dragon

Ice Dragon’s Prison and Mind Control aren’t the only powerful new cards from Selection BOX Vol. 06 that were immediately placed on the Limited 3 List. Dark Armed Dragon – a SR in the new BOX – was also placed on the Limited 3 List due to its strength. Dark Armed Dragon is an incredible monster that once dominated the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME. It’s a Level 7 monster with 2800 ATK that you can Special Summon from your hand when you have exactly 3 DARK monsters in your Graveyard. Its effect lets you banish a DARK monster from your Graveyard to target a card on the field and destroy it. Since Dark Armed Dragon’s effect isn’t limited to once per turn, you can keep activating its effect to clear your opponent’s field immediately after Summoning it!

4.) Knightmare Cerberus

The new SR Knightmare Cerberus in Selection BOX Vol. 06 is a Link 2 monster that can be Link Summoned by using any 2 monsters with different names as Link Materials. Knightmare Cerberus only has 1600 ATK, but its effect lets you discard a card if it’s Link Summoned and then target and destroy a Special Summoned monster in your opponent’s Main Monster Zone. If Knightmare Cerberus was co-linked when you activated this effect, you also get to draw a card. In addition, if Knightmare Cerberus is on your field, co-linked monsters you control can’t be destroyed by card effects. Since Knightmare Cerberus is easy for just about any Deck to Summon and can destroy a monster on your opponent’s field after you Summon it, it’s likely to be a popular card in many Duelists’ Extra Decks.

5.) Gizmek Kaku, the Supreme Shining Sky Stag

Gizmek Kaku, the Supreme Shining Sky Stag is a new Level 9 monster in Selection BOX Vol. 06 that has 2750 ATK and 2750 DEF. You can Special Summon it from your hand while a monster is in the Extra Monster Zone. Its effect lets you target a face-up monster in the Extra Monster Zone and equip that face-up monster to your Gizmek Kaku. Unlike Knightmare Cerberus, which can annihilate monsters in your opponent’s Main Monster Zones, Gizmek Kaku gets rid of a monster in an Extra Monster Zone with its effect. Plus, when Gizmek Kaku destroys an opponent’s monster by battle, you can Special Summon one of your monsters equipped to Gizmek Kaku. Gizmek Kaku is easy to Summon and can quickly turn the tide of a Duel, making it a strong tech choice for you to consider while building your Deck.

Selection BOX Vol. 06 is packed with powerful cards that have the potential to shape the landscape of competitive PvP Dueling. In addition to the 5 cards listed above, it contains Onomatopaira which will enhance “Onomat” Decks, Vampire Sucker which breathes new life into Vampire Decks, Lightning Chidori which powers up strategies using WIND-Attribute monsters like Harpies, and many more great cards.
