There’s a new Structure Deck EX in the Shop and it features a strategy built around Yugi’s Jack’s Knight, Queen’s Knight, and King’s Knight! Check out what you can do with the Imperial Joker Structure Deck EX!

Jack’s Knight, Queen’s Knight, and King’s Knight each seem unimpressive on their own. Jack’s Knight and Queen’s Knight are Level 4 and Level 5 Normal Monsters respectively, and King’s Knight is a Level 4 Effect Monster that just lets you Special Summon Jack’s Knight from your Deck if you Normal Summon it while you control Queen’s Knight. But if you fuse all three Knights together, you can Summon the UR Arcana Knight Joker, which is available with all-new art in the Imperial Joker Structure Deck!

Arcana Knight Joker has a whopping 3800 ATK, plus an effect that lets you negate a Spell, Trap, or Monster Effect that targets it once per turn by discarding the same type of card. The new Face Card Fusion Spell Card will help you Summon it. Face Card Fusion lets you Fusion Summon a LIGHT Warrior-type monster like Arcana Knight Joker by using monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Materials. If you control Jack’s Knight, Queen’s Knight, or King’s Knight, you can use a monster from your Deck as a Fusion Material instead, which will make Summoning Arcana Knight Joker a breeze.

The new Imperial Bower will also make it easier for you to gather your Knights by pulling two of them from your Deck at once! Imperial Bower is a Level 4 monster that you can Tribute while you control no other monsters in order to activate its effect. Its effect lets you choose any combination of two different monsters among Jack’s Knight, Queen’s Knight, and King’s Knight, and then either add to your hand or Special Summon each of those monsters. After getting immediate access to two of these cards, you’ll quickly be able to activate Face Card Fusion to Summon Arcana Knight Joker.

Imperial Bower isn’t the only card in the Imperial Joker Structure Deck EX that will help you Summon multiple Knights to your field. The new Joker’s Straight Spell Card has a bunch of effects that help to achieve the same goal. With its effect, Joker’s Straight lets you discard a card, Special Summon a Queen’s Knight from your Deck, add a King’s Knight or Jack’s Knight to your hand, and then Normal Summon a monster. If you add King’s Knight to your hand with its effect after Summoning Queen’s Knight and then Normal Summon the King’s Knight, your King’s Knight’s effect will activate to Special Summon Jack’s Knight from your Deck, giving you all three of the Knights on your field. Joker’s Straight also has an effect that you can activate while it’s in the Graveyard. During the End Phase, if it’s in your Graveyard, you can target a LIGHT Warrior in your Graveyard and shuffle it into your Deck to return the Joker’s Straight to your hand.

Gathering Jack’s Knight, Queen’s Knight, and King’s Knight together will not only help you Fusion Summon Arcana Knight Joker, but is also important for Summoning the new Arcana Triumph Joker boss monster! Arcana Triumph Joker is a Level 10 LIGHT Effect Monster that you can Summon from your hand or Graveyard by sending the three different Knights from your hand or field to your Graveyard. Arcana Triumph Joker has 2500 Defense Points and its “?” Attack Points are equal to 500 times the total number of cards in both players’ hands. Arcana Triumph Joker has an effect that can devastate an opponent’s field, too. By discarding a Monster, Spell, or Trap Card, you can destroy all face-up cards your opponent controls that are the same type as the discarded card. This effect allows your Arcana Triumph Joker to wipe out your opponent’s entire field!

A successful strategy using Yugi’s Knights involves getting all three of them from the Deck. Imperial Bower and Joker’s Straight are incredible cards for achieving that goal. Fortunately, there’s also a powerful Skill that helps to achieve the same goal. Yami Yugi’s Gathering of Cards Skill, which is now unlockable through a “Lifetime Mission”, lets you Normal Summon an extra Knight from your hand while you control Queen’s Knight. Summon King’s Knight, and its effect will activate to Special Summon Jack’s Knight from your Deck.

In addition, once per Duel, the Gathering of Cards Skill lets you send a Level 10 non-DARK monster with “?” ATK from your hand to your Graveyard to add one of the Knights or a monster whose text lists all of the Knights from your Deck to your hand. Then, the Skill adds a Jack’s Knight, Queen’s Knight, and King’s Knight to the bottom of your Deck. Since Arcana Triumph Joker has “?” Attack Points and Imperial Bower lists all of the Knights, you can use this Skill to trade in Arcana Triumph Joker for an Imperial Bower in your Deck.
