Control Deck advice?

Hey guys sorry to bother,

I'm an older fan of the series, watched it as a kid, and wanted to get more into Duel Links since:

A. It's free

and

B. It's Yu-Gi-Oh

I've come from Hearthstone and I'm looking to throw together a "control" deck that can hopefully control the pace of the game and prevent constant OTK. I understand Yu-Gi-Oh meta is largely OTK nowadays, at least how it feels from experience, but nevertheless I'd like to try something.

Any advice is appreciated.

my favorite control deck is buster blader, but idk if it even still relevant in the current meta, for cheaper decks id say triamid or the starry on newest minibox

radical I'll have a sus; I've been using dark magician decks mostly just cause the spell options, being able to clear spells, monsters etc., is just super helpful but it still feels hella limited so maybe buster blader is the play

no yeah, dark magician definitely is better and a very competitive deck. mind if i see what is your deck looks like?

i also know the gaia fusion card is there i forgot to remove it from my last gaia deck

looks good to me, but if i may, you can cut both dark magician knight cards, dark magician girl, and dark magician of chaos to prevent bricks, and maybe slap in more free good spells like monster reborn. for the control aspect you might want to dig for magician navigation and dark magical circle to disrupt your opponent on their turn. you can get 1 navigation in the latest dark magician structure deck

If I can get screen shots to work since something is still preventing me from doing so due to black screen on the screen shot. I can show you some of mine rouge control decks I love to improve and create. I went through the troubleshooting in the guides and on youtube but I notice others when I search are having problems with "Protection setting " making it black screen. A tiresome setting some companies have hidden it.

The ones I've experience with is Microsoft and Dell.

I think Six-Samurai is the easiest Way to play this Game. Everytime the same Combo and you have good Negates against most Archetypes. I hate to play Decks like this because it´s terrible Boring. But it´s a good Deck for Beginners to make some Progress.

Dark Magician is a glass cannon deck. It's main annoyance is dark magical circle combined with the trap card dark magical circle. Their ace is getting 7 magicians in their gaveyard to summon w.e his name is with 4500 attack.
BUT
Many decks can counter these things if given enough time to build up, or if those decks get to go first.
My Red Eyes deck usually eats magician decks for breakfast if I end up going first. Slash Dragon can negate magical circle or any other magician card that targets it besides dark magic attack. If they summon their big wizard, I usually yank it to my side with Red Eyes chain. My deck is loaded with effect negation cards.
Dark magician deck usually relies on knocking your opponent out without the first 1-2 turns, if not it usually gets destroyed by then.
