Decks for new player

Which decks should I build towards in pve and pvp? What should I spend the dream tickets, regular tickets and gem given when starting the game?

personally speaking, i would recommend utopia deck due to how cheap it cost.
for the core, all you need is getting yuma and astral to lv25 (it could work with lv16), the free Ultimate Utopia Leo, ZEXAL - Ultimate Unite skill from event, 1 Gagaga Xyz structure deck (500 gem), and 2 Brave Hope Structure deck (1000 gem + $4), it can still work with just 1 Brave Hope deck if you want to be f2p, but it has less consistency.

The max tuned version of the deck will require you to have 3 brave hope deck tho, and some staples xyz cards, but please keep in mind that utopia deck is far from top tier deck, however it's enough to bring you at least to legend rank (even with just 2 brave hope and no xyz staples) and can still be used decently for auto duel (although the AI wont use character skill)

as for tickets, keep the DREAM ticket until you really want to use it, as for general ticket you can pretty easily get it so just use it for whatever you want. Just make sure to use tickets before it expired.

as for gem, you can only hold 9999 gems at one time, though you can hold infinite number of gems in your storage it has expiry time of 1 month. i'd recommend to save it until you find the deck you want to build. Is practically free to play, most cards are obtainable by farming or regular Ur/Sr Ticked (not dream tickets), so you can start banking gems and dream tickets for any deck you want in the future.

And if you want to make it more competetive and conssitent, in a recent box we got manju of the thousand hands, so if you want a good searcher and starter you can get him with one sr dream ticket or some gems.

Gaia is also a cheap deck, but you just need to spend 1000 gems on a copy of the starter deck and buy 2 times the decks again with real money.

After that you can relax and be full free2play if you want.

Start with your fav character/deck, assuming your familar with the series. And go from there, you'll have dozens of decks before you know it lol

Whatever your favorite character is, find a deck that best suites you. Browse Duel Links Meta for some Ideas and go on Duel Links F2P on YouTube to get some ideas. I would personally recommend Harpie Ladies or something easy

As a Red Eyes user, That red eyes "meta" deck is kind of wack. How are you going to have black skull dragon yet leave slash dragon out of a Red Eyes deck?

4 of the 5 decks on the site have a Slash Dragon in their ED. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
