Is Yubel Even Useful

i reached 3 times KOG rank 3 times in a row past 3 seasons with Yubel Deck, so yeah.. Yubel is definitely Useful

She's nothing special on her own, but if you use the current event jewels to buy Terror Incarnate and Ultimate Nightmare you can build a decent deck around her. Especially if you throw some gems at the Dawn of Destiny box to get the Fire King cards/Sacred Pheonix of Nepthys.

Yubel decks are really good. Use Fire King cards as an engine. I am just astounded that Konami is giving us multiple copies of the 2nd and 3rd yubel monsters

Screw it I'll just give you my top tier Yubel Reactor Dragon deck. Immensely strong. No problems against AG and Koa'ki meiru only causes a problem if you draw incredibly poorly, which practically never happens.

1 - Yubel Ultimate Nightmare
1 - Yubel Terror Incarnate
3 - Yubel
2 - AG Reactor Dragon
2 - Sacred Phoenix Nephthys
3 - Fire King Avatar Yaksha
1 - Planet Finder
3 - Geartown
3 - Fire King Island
1 - Treacherous Trap Hole

The idea is stall and control the board with Yubel monsters, Sacred Phoenix, and Treacherous, Treacherous being a useful monster destruction for your own monsters. Yaksha is the main engine, as it can destroy Geartown on the field or in the hand. Fire King Island is more for Yaksha search than anything else, obviously useful to get Yubel out on the field, but is actually more useful replacing on the field to clear your board to make room for Reactor Dragon/Sacred Phoenix and destroy Yakshas for Yakshas destruction effect. Planet Finder is a must to get field spells you need in hand. And often, using Geartown to summon Reactor Dragon by tributing Yubel monsters is highly useful. Nobody expects the Reactor Dragon finisher.

Or you can play the mill version. Replace Reactor Dragons with warm worm. Replace Geartown and Treacherous and 1 Sacred Phoenix with 3 Canadias and 2 Limit reverse. The idea being to stall and mill your opponent out. Limit revers is mostly used to re-summon warm worms, but can also special summon Yubel from the graveyard, protecting your life points with the option to destroy it during your turn to summon Terror Incarnate. A bit less consistent but still really good.

Yubel-Phoenix is a pretty effective anti-meta deck. It can give Ancient Gears a fat slap since they don't really have any way to get over it. Bust out Terror Incarnate before they can bust out Reactor Dragon and you can either stall until deck out or try to go for attacks when you can since Terror Incarnate will nuke the field with each passing turn
