Level 50 Yami Marik Strats?

So level 50 Yami Marik gets unlocked tomorrow, and with it our second chance to obtain the winged dragon of ra. So I figured to make a thread for sharing strategies to help peeps defeat this fearsome foe and walk away with a shiny Egyptian god.

For those new to this or haven't faced level 50 Yami Marik before, here is how the duel works:

• When the duel begins, Yami Marik's deck skill summons sphere mode Ra to his side of the field
  
• Should you fail to deal with that sphere on your first turn, He will summon Ra with 4000 ATK and DEF
  
• The summon cannot be negated

I can tell u know. I am using hazy deck since i hav legend rank and its 100% win ratio (stage 54 dm and stage 30 gx) so u should shut up, if u dont know anything about hazy deck

i won 3 times in row against marik 50 lvl. i didnt get 5000 points, but i won in my first turn after marik turn

takaki, said he doesnt care about any of those destroy/switch cards, since he has hazy, which some how out dmg them, so i kinda wonder how he reaches 4k in 1 turn, cant obviously not done by beast rising.
n thats the only reason i'm asking, he denied using any of these cheap ways.

Just won Marik. Use 2 Econs and any monster.
Your turn 1. Place 2 Econs, turn over. Marik activates Ra, and places 1 monster. Use Econ on Ra. Your turn. Place monster, use Econ and steal Ra. Destroy Mariks monster using Ra effect and smash him.
P.S. For this you'll complete 3 daily missions.

restart skill:

1 turn: 1 hazy, set windstorm of etaqua
2 turn:marik summon ra, i am using windstorm of etaqua
3 turn: hazy effect: i have 2 hazies, enemy control- steal ra, i have 1 hazy and 1 ra- 4000 - 5000 points - 100% win ratio

no i used ra and slifer in 2 difffrent decks and giveing ppl hard time in pvp just caus eu dont know how to use them dont mean other dont ethor as marik says only chosen phew can command the power of the god cards guess your not one to under stand how to use them with there Do's and donts

Enemy Controller is your best bet to beat him. It's easier if you go second, but going 1st can still work if you have a way to negate Ra's 1st attack.

I beat Marik starting 1st by setting a monster in face-down defense and set the trap Draining Shield. He used the ability to kill the defense monster then attacked with Ra... Draining Shield stopped the attack and gave me 4K more hp. This allowed me to survive his other mobs attacks...I then focused on surviving till I got another ECON card and then took Ra from him, used it's abilities to clear the field including itself (yes, it's special kills itself)... then killed Marik with normal monsters.

Once Ra is out of the picture, Marik isn't that hard to deal with.
