Skill Changes and New Forbidden/Limited List!

New changes to the Duel Links Forbidden/Limited List and character skills are shaking up PvP Dueling! Take a look at how some of these recent changes are affecting competitive Dueling!

Gem-Knight Lady Lapis Lazuli is now on the Limited 1 list, preventing Duelists from using multiple copies to defeat opponents on the first turn of the Duel. Although Lady Lapis Lazuli hasn’t actually been dominating PvP Dueling in overwhelming numbers, this change will completely prevent it from allowing Duelists to take victories before their opponents get a turn.

Diamond Core of Koa’ki Meiru is now on the Limited 2 list, and Iron Core of Koa’ki Meiru has been removed from the Limited 2 list and is Unlimited. This change makes it harder for Duelists to use Diamond Core of Koa’ki Meiru as a “tech” card in a variety of Decks, since it’d take the spot of other Limited 2 “tech” cards, like Enemy Controller and Treacherous Trap Hole. Plus, Decks using Koa’ki Meiru monsters – particularly Koa’ki Meiru Maximus – have been one of the strongest Decks in Duel Links for quite a while, largely due to Diamond Core’s power to search for the cards needed to win and prevent Koa’ki Meiru monsters from being destroyed. The changes in Limitation status on Diamond Core of Koa’ki Meiru and Iron Core of Koa’ki Meiru hurt Koa’ki Meiru Decks and Decks using Koa’ki Meiru monsters; but these changes still allow Koa’ki Meiru Decks and Decks using Koa’ki Meiru monsters to remain strong and remain relevant in competitive Dueling.

Amazoness Swords Woman is now on the Limited 2 list, joining Amazoness Princess which was already on that list. This change makes it a lot harder to use Amazoness Decks, since Amazoness Duelists usually want to use as many copies of Amazoness Swords Woman and Amazoness Princess as possible. Amazoness Princess’s effect is often key to the success of most Amazoness Decks, which may make Amazoness Swords Woman obsolete in Amazoness Decks.

Lumis & Umbra’s Masked Tribute skill is changed. Although it still allows you to return a card from your hand to your Deck to put a Grand Tiki Elder or Melchid the Four-Face Beast on the field, with the skill’s new update, you can’t Normal or Special Summon any monsters other than Masked Beast Des Gardius until the end of your opponent’s turn after you use this skill. Previously, this skill was used in Subterror Decks to put a monster on the field that can be Tributed for a Tribute Summon or Tributed to activate the effect of Subterror Nemesis Warrior. Now that the skill restricts the use of the monsters it puts on the field to supporting Masked Beast Des Gardius, the skill is no longer the powerhouse it once was in Subterror Decks, making Subterror Decks much weaker.

Weevil’s Parasite Infestation skill has also been changed. It can still shuffle 1 or 2 copies of Parasite Paracide into your opponent’s Deck at the start of the Duel, but now, this skill will only activate if your Deck has 4 or more Insects with different names in it. Parasite Infestation was a powerful skill for just about any Deck to use, since it was able to occasionally replace the card your opponent drew with a Parasite Paracide that would inflict damage to your opponent’s Life Points instead. Now, this skill will only work with Insect Decks.

Finally, Sartorius Kumar’s Three Lord Pillars skill has been changed. In addition to allowing you to start with The Material Lord Set on your field if you have The Spiritual Lord and The Sky Lord in your Deck, this skill was able to put all copies of The Spiritual Lord and The Sky Lord on the bottom of your Deck. Now, it no longer puts all copies of The Spiritual Lord and The Sky Lord on the bottom of your Deck, which means you can no longer use this skill to stack 6 cards on the bottom of your Deck so that you’re essentially using a 14-card Deck. The Three Lord Pillars skill can, however, still be used in Arcana Force Decks to help Summon Arcana Force EX – The Light Ruler.

What are your thoughts on all of these changes?

Nice, so even Konami was aware that Gem Knights weren't really meta before the nerf, but they still limited Lapis Lazuli to 1 to please to the whiners that didn't even know anything about the deck to realize it wasn't that consistent to use seriously as a competitive deck anyway.

Good thing we still have "broken" FTKs available to use in the TCG with Gem-Knights easy as summoning Shi En first turn with a percentage over 80% at the very least.

The further hit to Amazoness just makes no sense. Like when is the last time you actually saw Amazoness as competitively relevant. Feels like kicking a dead horse.

Also the many skill nerfs (Besides 3 pillars, which was broken) sucks because it further restricts the field of useful skills. Nobody is going to play Des Gardius so the change took a relevant skill and removed it completely, meanwhile, everyone continues to use skills like Beatdown and Balance, because there are very few others worth running.

Please make more useful skills. Stop nerfing good ones.

Please Unbind My Account In Server ..

I expressed dissatisfaction with customer service. Chronologically, I linked this duel link account on Steam before June 27, I played afterwards. On July 30 my friend linked another duel link account to my Steam account. I find it strange because according to the latest rules it should only be able to 1 steam in 1 duel link account.

But why can my friend still link his account on my Steam account ????

After that I tried to replace it with my account and it was true that my suspicion that my account on Steam could not be opened because this account had been overwritten with my friend's account. The system reads that my account has been linked to Steam (error authentication). I'm dizzy

Why can 1 Steam be linked to 2 duel link accounts ????
i think condition is "acc status : unbind on steam"

but duel link server read "still binded and cause data transfer failed" but real condition is acc unbind on steam.

This makes my account inaccessible to Steam until now. I want my Steam link duel account back because I'm PC gamers
I tried to explain all of these errors to customer service. But they always talk about data transfer rules. I am not a child . I understand the latest rules that accounts that are linked to Steam cannot be moved / replaced. But what I experienced wasn't like that. This is a system error that needs to be fixed.

I've tried to create a new steam account but still can't log in because of an authentication error. My Steam account is only linked to my friend's account. but the server is still reading that my account is still linked to my steam.

Can you stop blaming customers and realize your mistakes? Help me

no problem, I'll show everyone that they (customer service) aren't working properly so they don't deserve a salary. Because their own server is error and then they do not want to be responsible for the losses suffered by its customers.

The limit list said there are 2 cards that you can use yet it limits the player to one its a game breaking mess up.. makes the game unlikeable to me so fix it please..
