New Forbidden/Limited List Update!
A new Forbidden/Limited List update takes effect on July 9th! There aren’t many changes coming, but the few changes that will take effect could have a big impact on PvP Dueling. Take a look at what’s changing!

Hey, Trunade! Is Forbidden
Hey, Truande!, a key card used by many Decks to return all face-down Spell and Trap Cards to the hand and render an opponent defenseless before finishing them off, is getting placed on the Forbidden List! Hey, Trunade! has been very popular for a long time, and worked best in Decks that could finish an opponent off in a single turn – before an opponent had the opportunity to Set the Trap Cards returned to his or hand back to the Spell & Trap Card Zone. With Hey, Trunade! gone, fast Decks may have a tougher time finishing opponents off in a single turn.

While Hey, Trunade! is Forbidden, Duelists with the Hey, Trunade! card in their accounts will be able to exchange it for a different “SR” Rarity card in the Rampage of the Forest Mini BOX. Be sure to take advantage of this exchange from the Card Trader if there’s a SR card you want from that Mini BOX.

Four Cards Are Being Removed From The Forbidden & Limited List
With Hey, Trunade! gone, four cards are being removed from the Forbidden & Limited List entirely. Two of those cards – Dragunity Knight – Ascalon and Cyber Angel Dakini – are the stars of their respective Decks that are notorious for defeating opponents in a single turn after activating Hey, Trunade!. Dragunity Decks, thanks to the power and effect of Dragunity Knight – Ascalon, can easily clear an opponent’s field of monsters and amass over 4000 ATK on the field. Making this play after Hey, Trunade! cleared an opponent’s back row cards often allowed the Dragunity Duelist to achieve victory. Similarly, Cyber Angel Dakini is the hard-hitter in Cyber Angel Decks, forcing an opponent to send a monster they control to the Graveyard after it’s Ritual Summoned. Since Dakini is Special Summoned to the field with 2700 ATK, using a Normal Summon will easily bring a Cyber Angel Duelist’s total ATK on the field to over 4000. As with Dragunity Decks, using Hey, Trunade! before making these plays often spelled defeat for an opponent. Dragunity Decks and Cyber Angel Decks lost a lot of power with Hey, Trunade! getting Forbidden, allowing Dragunity Knight – Ascalon and Cyber Angel Dakini to be removed from the Forbidden & Limited List entirely.

The two other cards that will be removed from the Forbidden & Limited List entirely on July 9th are Assault Armor and Dyna, Hero Fur Hire. Assault Armor is an Equip Spell Card that you can use to allow one of your Warrior-Type monsters to attack twice in the Battle Phase. Although this could help a Duelist wipe out all of an opponent’s Life Points in one Battle Phase, it’s not particularly powerful when compared to other available methods of defeating an opponent in a single turn. Similarly, Dyna, Hero Fur Hire was previously on the Limited 1 List; but even as one of the stars of the Fur Hire Deck, its power to help end a Duel in a single turn is outclassed by other available cards in Duel Links.

The addition of Hey, Trunade! to the Forbidden List is likely the most impactful change this time around, but the released restrictions on Ascalon, Dakini, Dyna, and Assault Armor could breathe life into new Decks and strategies. What are your thoughts on these latest changes?

SR Dream ticket would be a great idea. Many players spent a lot gems to get 3x or 2x Hey, Trunade!. That would be nice from Konami. I literally lost about 15,000 (or even more) gems. And What should I pick from "Rampage of the Forest Mini BOX"? I have 3 copies of each.. I think it's time to take a break from this game. Have fun guys.

The ticket exchange is a joke. I'll just hold on to the Trunade in case it gets unbanned in the future.

Not a huge fan of the Hay trunade exchange. I Used a SR dream ticket for both of mine and its kinda lame that the only exchanges are going to be from the same box, none of the other cards are even worth having in the whole mini box. I understand that you want people to grind for the stuff in newer boxes, but why not make it where we can exchange it for any SR from the mini boxes? Ther are tons of other cards that are atleast close to the same tier as Hey Trunade was.
