New Skill Rebalancing!
The latest Skill Rebalancing took effect last week! Check out the newest changes made to Character Skills so that you’re ready for PvP Dueling!

Switcheroo
Switcheroo was a popular Skill to use with Bandit Keith. Previously, it allowed a Duelist to send a card from his or her hand back into the Deck and draw a new card twice per Duel. It could be used once for every 1000 Life Points lost. With the latest update, Switcheroo still does the same thing, but it can only be used once per Duel, and you need to have lost 1500 Life Points in order to use it. Previously, Switcheroo was easy to use after paying just 1000 Life Points to activate Cosmic Cyclone. Now, it’s tougher to activate and doesn’t combo quite as strongly with Volcanic Shell.

Shadow Game
Marik’s Shadow Game Skill was a popular Skill before the recent Skill Rebalancing. Previously, it inflicted 100 Life Points to a player during the End Phase of his or her turn for each card in his or her Graveyard. The Skill Rebalance caps the damage at 400 per turn, and stops working against a player when he or she has 1000 or fewer Life Points left. This significantly weakens the Skill, since it can no longer close out a Duel, and is now limited in how much damage it can deal.

Restart
Before the recent Skill Rebalancing, Restart allowed a Duelist to send his or her starting hand back into the Deck and draw a new one, as long as that Duelist skipped his or her first Draw Phase of the Duel. Restart still works the same way it did before, but now, you can only use it if your Deck contains 7 or more copies each of Spell and Trap Cards. That means Duelists will need to balance out their Decks in order to rely on the Restart Skill to draw a winning hand.

Show of Nightmares
Arkana’s Show of Nightmares Skill allows a Duelist to return one random Spell Card from his or her Graveyard to his or her hand, and can be used once per Duel while there are 3 or more Spell Cards in that Duelist’s Graveyard. The new Skill Rebalancing allows Show of Nightmares to work the same way, but now, the Duelist using the Skill must also return a card from his or her hand to his or her Deck after using the Skill, so it no longer generates an additional card in the player’s hand.

These 4 changes are likely to have the biggest impact on PvP Dueling, since they were the most popular of the modified Skills; but there are also a couple of additional changes that took effect with last week’s Skill Rebalancing. Bandit Keith’s Bandit Skill now requires you to return a card from your hand back to your Deck in order to use it; Yugi Muto’s Access Denied Skill can now only be used on the 5th turn of the Duel or later; and Chazz Princeton’s Ojama Overflow Skill can only be used on the 5th turn or later.

Although the Skills mentioned above were all weakened, a few were improved. The Afterlife Lockdown Skill now works twice per Duel instead of just once per Duel, and can be used while you control a “Cubic” monster to allow all of your monsters to return monsters that they destroy in battle to your opponent’s Deck. Weevil Underwood’s Moth to the Flame Skill also got a boost, since it can now add Larvae Moth, Great Moth, and Perfectly Ultimate Great Moth to a Duelist’s hand. Finally, Joey Wheeler’s Red-Eyes Fusion Skill got a boost because you can now activate it by sending a Red-Eyes Black Dragon from your Graveyard to your Deck, even if your Life Points aren’t at exactly 2400.

There have been lots of big changes to Duel Links recently, and the recent Skill Rebalancing is certain to have a major impact on competitive Dueling. Which Skill modifications in the newest wave do you like best?

I'll not be able to have that free boost of ATK when playing with Silent Magician anymore now with the nerf of Show of Nightmares... But not like it matters much at this point.

Please change restart skill. "if your Deck contains 7 or more copies each of Spell and Trap Cards". having 14 cards (7 spells + 7 traps) and only 6 monsters would destroy this skill completely. I am using 7 spells by myself, it's normal, but "having 7 traps" is not really realistic
