New Cards Available as PvP Ranked Rewards!

Two new cards were added to the pool of cards that can be obtained with Tickets from Ranked Duels last month, and December will bring Duelists another opportunity to get these cards while striving for King of Games! Check out Seven Swords Warrior and Gem-Knight Pearl – two new cards that you can include in your Extra Deck!

Seven Swords Warrior
Seven Swords Warrior is a Level 7 Synchro Monster that can be acquired with an UR Ticket from Ranked Duels. You can get one of those tickets by achieving 100 victories in a single season. That’s not an easy feat, but it’s a nice reward for Duelists with the dedication to accomplish it. Seven Swords Warrior can be Synchro Summoned by using 1 Tuner and 1 or more non-Tuners. It has 2300 ATK and 1800 DEF, plus an effect that inflicts 400 points of damage to your opponent when it’s equipped with an Equip Card. Once per turn, you can also target an Equip Card equipped to Seven Swords Warrior and send it to the Graveyard. When an Equip Card equipped to it is sent to the Graveyard, Seven Swords Warrior targets and destroys a face-up monster on your opponent’s field.

Seven Swords Warrior’s stats are solid and it’s easy to Synchro Summon. More impressively, it synergizes with Equip Spell Cards. Not only will it inflict direct damage to your opponent for each one you equip it with, but it can also give up one of those Equip Spell Cards each turn to destroy a face-up monster on your opponent’s field. In the right Deck that uses Equip Spell Cards, you can optimize Seven Swords Warrior’s effect and use it to defeat opponents.

Gem-Knight Pearl
Gem-Knight Pearl is easier to obtain, since you can acquire it with a SR Ticket that you’ll get after obtaining 25 wins, 50 wins, and 75 wins in a season. Gem-Knight Pearl has already been making a splash in Duelists’ Extra Decks in PvP Dueling, so it’s definitely worthwhile to add to your collection.

Gem-Knight Pearl is a Rank 4 monster that can be Xyz Summoned by combining any 2 Level 4 monsters on your field. That’s easy for most Decks. Gem-Knight Pearl also has 2600 ATK – the highest of any Rank 4 monster in Duel Links that can be Summoned using 2 Xyz Materials and without needing any specific Type or Attribute of monster. Gem-Knight Pearl doesn’t have an effect. It just has superior stats to most other Rank 4 monsters. But its lack of an effect often works as an advantage, since it makes it so that opponents can’t target it with the popular Fiendish Chain Trap Card, which can only target Effect Monsters. If you’re using Level 4 monsters in your Main Deck, consider adding Gem-Knight Pearl to your Extra Deck.
