How could Link monsters work in Duel Links?

I hate Link monsters but I always wondered how it would work in Duel Links? You can't have two extra deck monster zones on each side due to Duel Links 3x2 format. I believe they will either have the extra deck zone in the middle, one for you and your opponent or they will get rid / not use the arrows in their format. There's another good question would they introduce Link monsters?

EVERYONE SEEMS TO FORGET that speed duels were based off VRAINS. Guess what VRAINS had... Speed Duels with a 3/3 field field and 2 EMZs over leftmost and rightmost monster zones. It is entirely plausible and realistic to assume Konami will eventually add Links either in DL or DL 2.

DL can have Link monsters, the Speed Duel format has 2 Extra Monster Zones, idk anything about Link so idk if you take over the left zone or right zone but there is 2 Extra Monster Zones. The only thing that Speed Duel format doesn't have is Pendulum Zones so we will see what they do with that possibility

I don't inherintly hate them but i think they may defeat the purpose of the app (simpler yu gi oh) and i severly doubt that they'll be added.

however if they were to be added i believe that it'll be like in vrains, one extra monster zone makes no sense and no zone makes no sense either
i do look forward to being able to play 4 monsters tho

What I meant by one extra deck monster zone for each player is that both extra deck monster zones are opposite each other. Basically you have your 3x2 format then you have one extra deck monster zone in front of you while your opponent has the same with their own extra deck monster zone. By having it in the middle Link monsters will be more effective at least in my opinion.

The requirements to summon a Link monster are actually a lot more simple than Synchro, XYZ and Pendulum, not sure why you say it would make things more complicated. It will just add more monsters and hence more options to think about when creating a deck, but that's it.

There are many many Link based Archetypes and monsters that would work perfectly fine in duel links, Gouki, Marincess, Crusadia, Guardragons, Altergeist and so on, this is however made infinitely easier if they were to add an extra monster zone, which they may at some point, cant say for sure though.

Yeah I know =) I watched Vrains, but I was just talking from a Duel Links perspective, not sure if konami would add an extra monster zone is all.
