Above platinum no one uses that card.
Any form of spell/trap-removal deals with it.
It only protects from destruction, so any effect that banishes, returns to hand, sends to GY etc. still works, and nowadays pretty much every decent deck has something like that.
Cards like Triamid Kingolem or Galloping Gaia stop it from activating the counter placing effect, so that eventually takes care of it as well.
The card needs a counter to protect the monster, so you can still destroy it before it attacks.
sure you can counter it, but it's got a lot of power for it's rarity.
Then show us where it's placed in the Top 50 cards used in PvP Popularity Ranking
You said for it's rarity it's powerful, you even said every deck seems to be running it. If it was actually power and every deck is running it then you can prove that by going to Popularity Ranking, oh wait you can't cause it's nowhere on there. Even Book of Moon that still exclusive to selection boxes is at #5. The card isn't powerful it's useful against AI and low ranks, against actual players you don't see it used and every deck has a built in counter to it without even acknowledging it
thanks for your input.
"this card is crazy. pretty much every deck seems to be running it..."
Don't talk about sarcasm bro until you learn a bit of irony, or PotG cause you clearly don't understand it either
We have dozens of options of dealing with this card. POTG is great for auto duel, no doubt, but in PVP pretty much no relevant deck has ever ran it to meta success.
We have results of KC cups, DLM tournaments and the KC GT. In the 2 years that this card has been in duel links it has not seen any meta success outside of Red-Eyes Slash Dragon Turbo.
Also rarity should not be a factor for a card to be limited if it isn't a problem. Konami hits low rarity cards because there is the least backlash, but they almost never hit cards unless they are either meta relevant or are used in degenerate/unfun strategies.
"pretty much every deck seems to be running this" is an opinionated statement based on observations.
"show me where it is in the top 50. oh wait you cant!!" is just not productive.
again, thanks for your input but respectfully no.
You can actually play around it, no memes.
Lol an opinionated statement based on observations, so basically you refuse to admit your wrong and therefor want an excuse out. Nobody is using the card but low ranks which you seem to just prove you are, so again learn what PotG is and stop saying "it's strong"
When that card came out I thought it was op as well but it can easily get destroyed by anything really.
