"Cubic Seeds" Skill Incorrect Effect Text?
Long story short, while using a deck that has only Cubic monsters, Cubic spell/traps, and generic spell/traps, Cubic Seeds will not activate. I don't have the cards required to test a deck with only Cubic cards, but regardless, the skill text claims that the only requirement is that the deck has no non-Cubic monsters in it. (I have no cards in my extra deck)

Yeah It's not working for me either. Typical Konami breaking stuff day 1 :P You'd think after 3 years they could get this right

So basically it makes it you are only able to play with a bad deck, without any single way to actually make the deck stronger. I am not sure what they are thinking with these sorts of skills. I remember Trudge's skill where in order to add Goyo to the extra deck, you had to remove everything else.

Sad thing is the skill isnt even broken they just messed up the text. The skill really only activates if your deck consists ENTIRELY of cubic cards. Means no staples or anything allowed. I mean cmon how bad do they want cubics to be? Not only do you start with 23 cards with this skill you also have to build a deck with 0 added utility:steamfacepalm:

i waited for aigami unlock so long
and when i get hiim - i can make only weeek deck :steamfacepalm:
not funny
and getting only cubiccards alo is not so easy :(

I suffer from the same problem, I have a lot of Cubic cards, but unfortunately, I couldn't have the deck, wait for the konami to fix this
well i was able to launch the skill
but only when i removed every single card expect cubic related
and that sucks a lot
because those cards by themeself without magic and trap cards are totaly useless:steamfacepalm:

Reading helps

We have read it. The text only lists "Cubic Monsters", not "Cubic cards". It was a mistranslation on Konami's part, not the user base not reading it.

Honestly I understand wanting Vjiam to be hard to access - it would be an easy staple IMO if it was just added as a card, because it's basically a re-useable Fiendish Chains... But this is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid.
NONE of the Cubic monsters are playable without Vijam, and so you have to basically hard draw a 3-of in your 23 card deck without being able to play ANY STALL CARDS or even something like Counter Gate to speed the process up.

Cubic Karma is HOPT which does nothing to actually help you set up anything turn 1, and even if Cubics were really efficient Vijam is still able to be banished with Cosmic Cyclone - removing one of your 3 copies with no way to recover it (since you can't even play Psy Framelord Omega to bring it back, ignoring that Cubics have no tuners to go into it anyway).

Just restricting it to a skill would be enough IMO, since it means you can't run other super-strong skills like Destiny Draw, Switcheroo, No Mortal Can Resist, etc. Maybe requiring 3 Cubic monsters with different names across the main and extra deck? Then it would still be locked to the archetype, but would allow you to use staples. The deck is still super prone to bricking, since Vijam is the ONLY (good) Cubic we have that can be normal summoned (Duza doesn't count why the ♥♥♥♥ is it an UR seriously).

Even then, other Archetype-based skills would be less mandatory - Dark Magician can be played with a flexible Skill, you don't *need* one in particular necessarily.

I just wanted to play the deck for fun, but I guess that's off the table.
At best the deck can summon a 3k, triple attack monster with no actual protection - can't even summon more than one, because we only have 3 monster zones.

Oh, and it would take multiple turns to do that, unless you SOMEHOW manage to beat over something with Cubic Beast with only 1000 attack and have 2 Vijam in your graveyard... To go +1, and with no Main Phase 2 you can't even normal summon the third cubic, then special one of the boss monsters..

What about the level 20 skill? It lets you summon Cubics from your hand, and gives them 500x their level as attack!
... So the best you can have is ~2000 atk. And this is a HOPT and 2 times per duel. And you take burn damage if the monster (with no good protection) is destroyed. Nice.

Brilliant.

Cubic Dimension Summon would prolly be the most used skill if we had Vijam since you can easily go into a Buster. Also Karma can help. You summon a lvl 2-3 Cubic use Karma on it to send the seeds to grave while also raising its attack so you can beat over a monster and upgrade to a better cubic next turn. Would be cool if the skill got buffed and we get cards like 1 for 1 for a easy seed summon tho:Altina:

Please no... I don't want Vijam running rampant. I hate control decks enough as is

Also, how is the Emperor not just worse than Buster in every way? Other than the pitiful 800 burn and search on destruction I guess?

Komoney already hates monster that cannot be destroyed by battle you really think they'll give us one that can also completely disable a monster after battle? And even for free as a event reward?:steamfacepalm:
