Paladin of Felgrand effect broken?
I've been testing out the Paladin a lot and I really like him, however, I feel like his effect is glitched out. Let's say I have a Felgrand equipped to him but no 7 or 8-star dragons in the graveyard, it won't let me use his effect. However, let's say I have a red eyes in my graveyard and a felgrand equipped, I can activate his effect and special summon that same felgrand back to the field to use it's effect. If the game allows you to special summon the equipped card since it gets sent to the graveyard as well, why will the game not allow you to activate this effect unless you already have a 7 or 8 star in the graveyard? is this just glitched or done by design? I feel like this ruins what could be a good deck.

It's by design. Felgrand only special summons them from the graveyard. The monster can't be equipped to him but has to be in the graveyard.

Right it's just that the equipped monster gets sent to the graveyard anyways so you have the option to summon that one right back. I guess I was just hoping it would let you do that without already have a different dragon in the graveyard. Thanks!

Key word being Tribute. The process goes as such: Select the monster in your GY > select Paladin and another card. As such you don't get to choose the equiped to it doesn't get selected. Now if you wanted a card like what you described, there's machina fortress, but that's not in the game and I doubt it'll ever be because its a good card and be too busted in LInks.

Well it's not the tribute part. The selection for the monster in the graveyard actually happens AFTER you sacrifice Paladin which is why it seems like it's a wasted oppostunity which is why you have the ability to summon the monster that was equipped to the Paladin that was just sacrificed. I'll take a look at Machina fortress though!
