The point of the new box went completely over your head, didn't it?
The limit of 15 exists there for a reason, it's 1/4 of the box with guaranteed SR/UR in each pack for 200 gems which is crazy in value. Selection box is avaible for a week inc old boxes have to sell too.
Note that this is selection box vol 1. there' more coming in future perhaps 2nd anniversary.
I'm not saying that Duel Links is fully free from standard f2p scummy shenaningans, but for a already mentioned f2p title, a card game that comes from by many a detested company, Duel Links is incredibly ethical and one can (having at least basic knowledge) play competitively and reach KoG without paying a cent (been there, done that).
Thats why they wont do it. Selection box, sure, for it's crazy value and only 60 packs is limited.
Who the heck would buy 200 boxes with limitations.
Time to shake off your paranoia and take your medication.
I'm not a whale, and even I can see why they did this with this box to begin with. It makes sense because it helps old boxes stay relevant in a way, and it gives us a small preview of what to expect in the future. They're doing *all* players a huge favour *and* they give people the option to buy more packs *if they choose*. You're making it out to be a requirement to buy, while it is anything but.
None of it is technically p2w, because the overwhelming majority of the cards in the box can be obtained elsewhere too. This box temporarily gives all players a chance to 'catch up', and I for one am thankful for it because otherwise I would never waste my gems on older boxes for just a few cards I really want.
And think about it; sure the packs cost 200 gems, but you get 12 cards in one pack (the equivalent of 4 packs, which also costs 200 gems), with a GUARANTEED SR/UR. That's incredible value for the gem cost, since when you buy 4 packs of a regular box the odds of pulling SR's/UR's is significantly lower.
If you hate what's happening, just quit. It's that simple. Why keep playing if an obvious token of goodwill outrages you? Entitled much?
I find this funny. As though KONAMI didn't also have a horrible reputation.
If you want to be in the current meta at all times, yes you will probably need to spend money. That is inherently how card games of this nature work and frankly isn't new.
try to get some stuff like this in hearthstone for free (top legendaries event? nah) they will give you 3 random packs or gtfo. rest cards you buy will perish out of standard format rotation soon so happy grinding for nothing in hs.
to the new players: stop plistening to these ♥♥♥♥♥♥ clueless posts, instal game and try yourself, you will get tons of free stuff that veterans worked for year and thats why they are sour because some new guy who started game, have now chance to get stuff, they grinded, with no effort particulary.
yes i agree there should be some events just only for veterans too, maybe some very hard missions to complete for someone who has a loto f cards.
btw for login 6 days in row during event you get: 3 SR and 3 UR - 1 tickets prismatic for each type, how this is not good attitude?
