Konami's shuffling algorithm
Dear Duel Links players, have you ever built a deck YOU feel is balanced in it's Monster:spell/Trap ratio ? Only to be met with an opening hand that looks like THESE abominations ( see link below )

https://imgur.com/a/z0AMn2d

If so, please contact your local "This game sucks" complaint center and start filing reports of bad coding today ! Don't be another victim of "Good deck, ♥♥♥♥ shuffling". You too CAN make a difference.

I disagree with most people trying to justify it by RNG.

I play a TON of rng games, but the rng in duel links is known to be rigged to some extent. Same as the matchmaking, I doubt I'll be able to find the posts showcasing both again but it was argued that it was all in the name of "balance", which is fair.
Anyone playing RNG games can attest that sometimes you have bad luck, it happens. But when you build a 30 cards deck with only 2 levels 6 and strangely get those 2 first hand 10 duels in a row, each day, with an average of 30 duels per day, something is clearly wrong. That was the gist of it, I'm not an expert like the ones who did the tests so you'll have to do your maths yourselves.

It was the same with that one that would immediately be matched against a silent deck when he just built a complete magic deck, or how he would meet someone with a rare Jinzo immediately after building a deck full or traps.
I repeat, immediately, not just along the road. One coincidence can happen, two and it's just strange, three and you can start to question things.

EDIT:
A friend of mine just corrected me. Actually, when people say it's because of the RNG, they are right but not for the good reasons.
RNG is not the same as completely random and I think this is where people get confused. RNG means that the randomness is not total but uses an hidden algorithm, and nothing prevents that algorithm to, say, put more higher levels monsters on top of your deck, and this is what have been reported by most people.

And do not blame it on "proper" deck building because meta players do not build their own decks okay? They follow guides.

Isn't it funny when the only ones complaining about "I brick every game" (excluding Triamid players) are people who "me no research, me no netdeck, me smart, me buildz own deck"?

You say that your opponent never bricks, but have you ever heard of "starter cards"?

But before I go over that, I had 3 opponents brick today, 1 Vandread player, a stall player and a Darklord player. I killed the stall player with his own Lava Golem, he gave it to me on his 1st turn and for the next 2 turns he couldn't play any card due to his hand, the Vandread player didn't drew any spell cards and since I was banishing his monster, got no search effects, and let's not get in the Darklord player, he's a special kind of special, might be the no name guy?

Now, back to "starters". Red-Eyes decks, the guys who actually buy the structure deck with real money, they have 7 cards, aka, more than 1/3 of the deck, being cards that facility them an opening play, those being 3 Fusion, 3 Insight and 1 Black Metal Dragon. Starter cards are basically cards that allow you to start your combos off. My Subterror deck? Nothing special, 10 of them, 3 Golem, 3 Frog, 3 Warrior and 1 Mahjong Maidens. Legit half my deck is just starters, and it still has moments where it bricks and I draw only Subterror Behemonts with nothing to summon them.

You don't notice the opponent having bad hands because you don't even know what a bad hand for said deck looks like. Just because he can summon something doesn't mean he didn't brick. If my hand looks like this, 2 Mardark and 2 Red-Eyes B. Dragons, just because I can summon Mardark doesn't mean it's not a brick.

Go learn how the decks are actually supposed to play, go learn to properly build a deck, then come cry about bricks.

I don't like to be rude to others, but i'm sorry for everybody that tried to be rational and explain this guy something ... he is delusional, he will not accept your answers, because if something happened to him once or twice, it must be the "definitive truth", so no point in argue with him ...
true also it's not rude if it's true

I like how out of all the answers he picks as the solution, he cherry-picks the one that only he agrees with. It's almost like an Anti-Vaxxer or a Flat Earther doing research and only finding the answers they want.

I mean Flat Earth is just a cult really so I don't think he can be compared as such to that

Everyone gets bricked hands. It is part of any card game. I know that is easy to say but I played on magic the gathering online for about 15 years, still have accounts there. I also played chess for about 15-20 years at club level. If you want to eliminate RNG then play chess. Personally, on balance, at least RNG lets me pretend it is not me that sucks completely.

Still wondering how much longer it will take him to realize that he isn't changing anything by making these threads.

Hahaha I would drop that with the 3 power without hesitation. I have attacked with Sphere Kuriboh in ranked a few times mainly to boost the Tie that Binds.

what you need another example ?

I built a toon deck right ? uses the field spell "mausoleum of the emperor" to get toons out.
red eyes dark magician gear golem ect... I start playing the deck with THREE copies of the field spell. I never open with it.
To make sure I get the field spell faster I add some search cards to my deck. NOW all of the sudden I'm opening with the field spell every other duel.
I decide "Okay let's test this for a second" I take the search cards back out. I never see the damn field spell.
I try using magical mallet. I kid you not EVERY time I play the card I end up just redrawing what I shuffled back in.
This is all in the last day of playing this game. I am telling you, this is not me making ♥♥♥♥ up for no reason, cause god knows the backlash from you meta obsessed Konami apologists is hardly worth the bother of looking at.

it. Is. Fixed. If you just pay attention to these patterns as you play for once you'll see it too

I have heard more people complain about unlucky hands in card games than you have had wet dreams. I do not need to go through life pretending anything. I am a realist and I play probabilities. I do not whine about bad luck and I was making a little joke here with the mulligan post. Then again, you probably go through life imagining that everything is literal. Good luck with that buddy.

"I had 3 opponent's brick today" well goodie for you. I've had opponent's brick very rarely and usually only when I play them on a Twitch stream. Try getting a lucky brick in ranked where people have most likely payed for their decks, and see how the game praises them.
Like if Konami wants to promote the most powerful "pre built" decks as structure boxes to pay for why don't they make the game pay to win, like all the other crap out there ? because clearly something in it is favoring players who put money in.

If there's multiple complaints this can't be just salty losers exaggerating.

I swear it's like anyone who insults it is insulting you because your whole self worth is wrapped up in it. "oh it can't be a bad game there's just no way!"
I mean for god's sake you user name is after one of the characters IN the series ! Probably the edgiest one too lmao
