So when i was dueling i activated grit for a turn then next turn i wanted to use invocation on my aleister and apple magician girls that were on my field and i couldnt. IIRC grit says it allows a player to SPECIAL SUMMON ONCE next turn and that turn i didnt special summon anything, i only normal summoned aleister. is this a bug ?

As far as I can tell there was no reason you shouldn't have been able to summon Purgatrio.

The wording for Grit is "When this skill is applied you can only special summon one monster until the end of your next turn". So the special summon of chocolate from the hand used up that summon. Hope this helps.

Oh wait, did that summon occur AFTER the skill?... if so then yeah, that's your reason.
