New HERO Cards in Structure Deck: Hero Generation!
The next generation of HERO cards is here! The latest Duel Links Structure Deck – Structure Deck: Hero Generation – is now available, and introduces 4 powerful new HERO cards to Duel Links! Check them out!

Masked HERO Koga
There’s a new Masked HERO in Duel Links, and this one has the LIGHT Attribute! Masked HERO Koga has 2500 ATK to start, and like the other Masked HERO monsters, you can Summon it with the Mask Change Quick-Play Spell Card (which is also included in Structure Deck: Hero Generation). Koga gains 500 ATK for each monster your opponent controls, and also has a Quick Effect that lets you banish a HERO monster from your Graveyard to decrease the ATK of a monster on the field by the ATK of the banished monster until the end of the turn. When it comes to Attack Points of Masked HERO monsters, Koga is king. Koga can increase its own ATK to as high as 4000, and decrease an opponent’s monster’s ATK to as low as 0, making it capable of defeating just about any monster and wiping out all of an opponent’s Life Points in one attack.

Favorite Hero
Show your favorite HERO monster how much you like it by equipping it with the Favorite Hero Equip Spell Card! This Equip Spell Card can only be equipped to a Level 5 or higher monster. If you control a card in your Field Zone, Favorite Hero increases the ATK of the monster it’s equipped to by that monster’s DEF, and prevents your opponent from targeting the equipped monster with card effects. To help make sure you have a Field Spell Card in the Field Zone, at the start of the Battle Phase, Favorite Hero lets you activate a Field Spell directly from your hand or Deck. Finally, when the monster equipped with Favorite Hero attacks and destroys an opponent’s monster, you can send Favorite Hero to the Graveyard to allow your monster that was equipped with it to attack again. Even though it’s brand new, Favorite Hero has already become a popular addition to Decks using Neos Fusion and Elemental HERO Brave Neos (which are both available in Structure Deck EX: Neos Fusion).

Hero Blast
The Hero Blast Trap Card has a rare combination of powerful effects that let you return a card from your Graveyard to your hand and destroy an opponent’s monster. Hero Blast lets you target an Elemental HERO Normal Monster in your Graveyard and add it to your hand. Then, if your opponent controls any monsters with ATK less than or equal to the retrieved monster’s ATK, you can destroy one of them. Hero Blast works best with Elemental HERO Neos Alius – a Gemini monster with 1900 ATK that counts as a Normal Monster while it’s in the Graveyard. Use Hero Blast to return Neos Alius from your Graveyard to your hand and then destroy an opponent’s monster with 1900 or fewer ATK. A copy of Elemental HERO Neos Alius is included in Structure Deck: Hero Generation.

Generation Next
Generation Next is a cool Quick-Play Spell Card that works with just about all of the themes Jaden Yuki relied on in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. You can activate Generation Next while your Life Points are lower than your opponent’s. Then, you can add to your hand or Special Summon from your Deck or Graveyard an “Elemental HERO”, “Kuriboh”, or “Neo-Spacian” monster with ATK less than or equal to the difference in you and your opponent’s Life Points. In addition, for the rest of your turn after activating Generation Next, you can’t activate cards, or the effects of cards, with the same name as the monster you got with Generation Next. The restrictions on Generation Next make it tough to use effectively, but it’s still the ultimate “Jaden Yuki” card. It works best when you’re far behind in a Duel and pulls together the many themes that Jaden relies on in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.

In addition to these 4 new cards, Structure Deck: Hero Generation contains reprints of powerful cards like Mask Change, Elemental HERO Escuridao, and Elemental HERO Nova Master. Which cards in Structure Deck: Hero Generation are your favorites?
