The game keeps restarting during a Data Download

On May 25th I was playing the game one night when the game crashed, freezing on me along with my computer, I had to turn my computer off and the next morning when starting it, it started to ask me for a data download, which to me says that either I've lost all my save data, or that I just need to redownload it entirely.

But here's the problem, the game keeps doing this thing where right before it finishes the data download (which for me takes like almost 24 hours.) it abruptly restarts (the window doesn't close) and goes back into the start screen where I have to start it all over again.

Is anyone else having this problem? I've been playing this game for a good while and it has never done this to me before, I can't understand if it's just an error of the game or something with my computer.

Do I need to reinstall the game entirely?

I think I did that before when I was worried my save data was gone, but last time when I redownloaded it went well and I still had everything.

Please help me.

I would recommend backing up your data and linking with your Konami account before reinstalling if you haven't done that. Just to make sure you don't lose all your data
