Building deck outlines

I’m wondering if I’m just blind. Is there a way to build custom deck outlines sort of like using the deck list thing but a way to build custom deck plans with cards you own and don’t own?

I don't think so. However, you can copy the decks of online opponents to one of your deck slots if you see something you'd want to use. Any cards you don't have in that deck will be there, but greyed out.

duel links has a database of what cards are currently in the game, I think what he means is "can I make a plan for a deck containing cards that I don't own yet so that I can find out if it works before I spend the time/money to get the cards for it?"
sadly there isn't a test mode for decks with pre-acquired cards or a system for making them

I see. I have a deck screen shot so i was hoping to use some deck builder in game to use the how to obtain option to slowly build the deck. Thanks for the input though

The closest thing to that is the submitted deck lists.

But that too is limited.
You can see user submitted decklists and see a "percentage completed" below each post. You can click on the mto see what cards you are missing.
It isn't exactly what you are trying to do, but that's kind of the thing with DL. It as a really crummy quality of life factor to it.
