Monarch AG is a counter to AG counter decks. Focusing on tributing into Reactor or Golem and using Monarch Awakens.
It's more expensive as you do need a lot of cards outside of the deck. Monarch Awakens basically makes your one Reactor or Golem into an unstoppable killing machine, fully immune to all card effects.
Just keep one on the field and the only decks you'll have trouble facing are BEWD or anything that can go beyond 3000+ ATK.
Reactor Trubo: focuses on dumping three reactors ASAP. Some builds don't run Pathfinder and some do, this tends to brick so it's kind of dangerous too. This is probably the "cheapest" variation as you only need to purchase the structure deck.
AG fusion: This one is also another costly deck as you want to get out Ultimate ASAP so you'll need king of the swamp. You could simply omit those, but it will take some time as you need to use Frame's effect to discard any cards you don't need(mainly box) to get a Golem into your hand if you don't have one already.
Sea Stealth Attack decks and Blue Eyes are probably the best counter to AGs.
SSA because AG dekcs don't really have an out to it.
Blue Eyes for stats.
You can use decider in destiny heroes, but that's only if you know your opponent doesn't have a Wyvern in hand so it's a tad risky.
Outside of that there are a lot of single cards that can be effective against AG
Floodgate and System Down are good options.
The counters are only a small sample, I am sure plenty of others have guarantee ways of beating AGs.
Monarch AG
x3 Reactor and/or Golem
x2 Hamstrat
x2 Sphere
x2 Tetran/Snipe Hunter
x2 Soul Exchange
x2 Gear Town
x2 Monarch Awakens
x2 Canadia
x3 Hallu
The others just research, doesn't take 5 seconds on google to find a variety of builds.
Edit: include elemental hero great tornado too since he halves opponents attack while on the field.
You could try D.D. Assailant/Warrior with Holy Guard to ram AG out of play, or leave them in attack mode with bluff backrow. Warrior decks are good for versatility. Try X-Saber.
I think it's been making the KC Cup easy because most people are using the same deck.
really? all I've been fighting is mokuba and his koa'ki meiru ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
