NPCS cheating?
Okay, so I'm trying to farm Mai for Amazoness cards for a Tea deck, but I'm having more than a little problem with it. Every time I duel her, or any level 30+ duelist (including ones like the Wanderer or w/e his name is) I find they often cheat. A lot. Like they'll get the exact card they need the turn they need it, or just happen to have the specific combo needed to beat my entire deck, or just happen to have, say, a card to destroy all Insects when I'm using an insect deck even though their deck list doesn't include any of those cards.

My point is: Is the game intentionally cheating you out of fair wins just to stop you easily farming cards? 'Cus if so, I'm done. No point in playing a game that isn't going to play fair.

the game is cheating you in many ways

Couple of things to point out:

- The list of cards shown at the start is NOT their deck list, merely a list of possible reward drops.

- Characters like Weevil use "Eradicating Aerosol" regardless of what you run. I have never seen Mai use it, or any other "destroy (insert monster type here) monsters" cards I would like to see a screenshot in this case. Cuz otherwise, I guarantee you the Ai would have done this against me, seeing how I run plenty of type-specific decks.

- Amazoness are a really nasty archetype even at level 30. Their deck promotes synergy and she runs all she needs with minimum bricking potential. I'd wager it probably blows most other level 30 NPCs out of the water.

- As for always having what they need to combo... well I hate to say it, but that's simply a sign of good deck building. That NPC deck just happens to be decent and isn't full of situational junk.

Another thing I've found is that when you're farming and use items to boost your exp and what-not, the game tends to get harder. Even farming against basic npc or level 10-20's, if you use an EXP booster, suddenly you're getting your ass beat.

That being said, I don't mind having a non-meta deck..I just want an actual deck. I have like a crap-ton of cards, but the game refuses to give me the last few of, say, an insect deck, or a few cards I need for a Madolche deck ect. I have like 6-7 different decks that are almost complete but need cards I can't get or need to bang an RNG god to get.

I agree with you... it's too often + another fact is NPC's sometimes use cards you can't find in the cardlist

Have you tried farming level 30 Mai, level 30 Aster, or level 40 Ishizu? Notice how they draw into their Field Spells almost every single duel. If you were to play three field spells in your deck to test how many times you open up with them in your starting hand, you will come to the conclusion that the NPCs are cheating.

I think it is at the similar rate as when I have 3 field spell cards, there are many instances where mai and ishizu dont use their field spell like at all
I've actually had a strange trend of running into a similiar scenario. When playing Zane with a multiplier on and/or with boosts, it feels like he becomes twice as difficult at times and starts with his Field in hand. I just assumed it was bad chance for me but it happens so often, so reading your post makes me wonder now. (I still win often enough though but he stopped dropping EX points and I have no Keel, yet I have three of every other card he drops.)
