for a new F2P player, which box(s) are best to invest in?

kinda depends if you can wait wait there should be a new box coming soon if you can't wait well go for Darklords and/or Invoked/Elementsabers and hope they don't get another hit, alternatively go for Blackwings most note worthy cards are in 1 box (Aerial Assault) with the exception of Whirlwind which you have to dig for seperately or you use your UR Dreamticket for it if you haven't already.

what kind of noteworthy cards?
way back in the day when I played the actual card game, I was never much of a 'fiend' player, darklords sounds like its geared towards fiend decks
don't know anything about element sabers

Darklords is Fairy's, Dark World is Fiend's

what I used to play, and not in any set order, just off the top of my head

occasional magician (got lucky back in the day in 5 packs got 2 dark magicians)
buster blader deck

some cards confuse me, as the descriptions are suited for the actual game where u could field 5 cards in each row making them less useful imo since u can only field 3 cards in each row which is weird as other CCGs you can field 5

Blackwings are a combo heavy field flooding synchro type of a deck with rather explosive plays (from empty board to full board in a single turn f.e.) and it would be best if you just look up some gameplay on YT as it's easier for you to see what's going on instead of my explaining, E-Sabers are a semi-control Fusion deck, they utilize Aleister to get Invoked fusion monster on the field, they're def less spammy than Blackwings but overall insanely versatile and strong, same as Blackwings tho, look up gameplay on YT.

If you want a dragon deck i guess Red Eyes or Blue Eyes would be the only viable choice as of now since Thunder Dragons are very expensive to build however both Red Eyes and Blue Eyes are mediocre decks at best, they will easily push you through PvE duels but you're hopelessly outclassed in most PvP duels.

as far as Darklords go well they're relatively easy to play if you understand card effects and the effect chain system all their cards are basicly in a single box with the exception of Banishment however i doubt you'd have much fun with the deck but same here check out some gameplay on YT.

i made a complete blackwing deck within 2-3 weeks on a new f2p account with gems and UR dream tickets. blackwing looks very expensive but the deck can be built for free in a short amount of time if you reroll for lucky UR pulls :)
