Does Red-Eyes Slash Dragon have a legal cost to negate? There needs to be a face up equip card on the field. Otherwise, please provide a replay of the bug occurring.
that was a way to bait slash dragon effect time ago when red-eyes was meta
You cannot chain to your own effect before your opponent has the opportunity to chain to it.
Slash dragon cannot negate an effect unless it's a direct response. In your case opponent probably fusion summoned using 2 or more lunalight monsters, then those sent monsters activated their effect one after another. Crimson fox was not the last effect to activate in a chain so you couldn't negate it. Simple example: 1 and 2 activated, 1 targets you and 2 doing something else, you being 3 cannot chain to 1 directly.
