Stuck on DSOD Level 16 Mission

Ok.. So as title says, I'm stuck. In DSOD world, level 16 mission says to defeat Yami Yugi in 2 battles (one with no monsters lower than level 2, and one with no monster higher than level 6) using Kaiba DSOD.
Problem is, Yami doesn't appear in the world for me (apart from the event that's going on now, and that doesn't count)
I have Sera, Mokuba and Kaiba all at level 30, and only Kaiba and Mokuba appear at the gate for me, so how am I supposed to finish these missions?
Any ideas?

1. How do you not have Scud?
2. You fight Yami Yugi at the gate, did you forget that Yami Yugi is the very first character in the game? Just switch the gate to the Duel Monster World gate which is the 2nd option, unless it says Yami Yugi DSoD, you can also probably do the event gate Yami Yugi as well, 1st option when world switching at gate

Oh so I have to fight the normal world Yami using DSOD Kaiba? I just assumed since it was for that world, it would have to be done within that world set. I will give that a try thanks.
Also, no idea how I don't have Scud? Not even sure who that is to be honest. (Perhaps it's a character from a series that hasn't aired here yet?)

He was 1 of the 3 characters for DSoD when it came out, banish your opponents cards 300 times. I recommend a Amazoness or Ghostrick deck

As for the missions you can do them in any world unless it requires a specific character or enemy, like say if you have a GX missions that says use Jaden to duel Alexis or like here where you have to use DSoD Kaiba to duel Yami Yugi from DM

Ahh I see! Yeah DSOS hasn't aired here yet. So far we've only had the original, Zexal, Arc V and Vrains.

Also thanks for the tip. Just tried switching gates, and it's working :)

Ahhh ok. I don't think I've ever seen a movie aired here before.
Still curious to know why I don't have him as a character yet though if you think I should by now... Perhaps he's unlocked at a later level? At least I can move on and start working on the level 17 missions now though!

He is unlocked at any stage, all you have to do is just banish your opponents cards 300 times, then you can do his unlock missions, as to why I said it it's because you have Sera unlocked which was an event character and all of your DSoD characters are at level 30

Ahhh I've never seen mention of that banishing thing anywhere... Might have to start working on that! I guess it's possible it's buried deep in the list of things I have yet to do in that second column. I rarely look at what's in there. Will have to start checking it more often. Thanks!

It's because it isn't a character unlock, it's to get the character to appear, once you do that then Scud appears and you can do his character unlock missions
