i wonder if they better card to activate my gusto griffin (maybe Wicked-Breaking Flamberge)
or stronger card i can special summon.
or other good card discarded effect.

i think my gusto deck more like psychic.
i was thinking maybe use master gig with wizard psychic and forced ceasefire.
and some synchro.
Maybe tricky i need get this one.

The duel was a bit long. I was only playing in Gold with a new deck I'm working on. I don't think they would do well in Platinum. But the deck might have some idea to take from it.

The duel was a bit long. I was only playing in Gold with a new deck I'm working on. I don't think they would do well in Platinum. But the deck might have some idea to take from it.

yeah the new gusto deck is super slow and isn't really good with anything that is even mildly aggressive. faced one back in Jan(Gold 5), with my monarch deck and won. Was a slow grind.

Problem with OPs deck is that a lot of the Gusto Syncros are in-archetype and don't really benefit from outside help. Falcos kind of helps, but it can help the opponent making any gusto monster given get 600+ atk(so a 2k beater).

Still the deck has too many random cards added for the sake of discarding and at a cost of a normal summon at that. If you want good discard fodder, the tricky is good, dark world dealing is good.
Anything that doesn't risk your normal summon to prevent you from making your plays.

Now new with the ancient deck stucture ancient gear runring a lot in pvp.
This can be not bad again takeover dragon or golem.

also have my own ancient gear deck.
and meiku are really something i don't how to counter.
