New Rewards Available in Ranked Duels!

The latest KC Cup may be over, but a new month of PvP Dueling is just beginning! By competing in Ranked Duels, you can get awesome rewards including Gems, Gold, and Tickets. Those Tickets can be redeemed for popular cards like Enemy Controller, Champion’s Vigilance, and more. Effective this month, two new cards have been added to the card selection pool for PvP rewards: Hyper Psychic Blaster (available with a Super Rare Ticket) and Quick-Span Knight (available with a Rare Ticket)!

Hyper Psychic Blaster

Hyper Psychic Blaster is a Level 9 Psychic-Type Synchro Monster with 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF. It’ll inflict piercing damage to any Defense Position monster it attacks, so it’s sure to put a dent into your opponent’s Life Points. Plus, if you use Hyper Psychic Blaster to attack a Defense Position monster with DEF lower than your monster’s ATK, you gain Life Points equal to the difference at the end of the Damage Step.

You can Synchro Summon Hyper Psychic Blaster by Tuning any Tuner with 1 or more non-Tuner Psychic-Type Monsters. That means you can Summon it from your Extra Deck by bringing out a Level 6 non-Tuner Psychic-Type Monster alongside the second new PvP reward card, Quick-Span Knight.

Quick-Span Knight

Quick-Span Knight is a Level 3 Machine-Type Tuner monster with a nifty effect. Quick-Span Knight only has 1000 ATK, but if it’s sent to the Graveyard for a Synchro Summon, you target a face-up monster your opponent controls and that target loses 500 ATK. Most Tuner monsters don’t stay on the field for long. Their purpose is to help you Summon more powerful monsters from your Extra Deck by facilitating a Synchro Summon. Quick-Span Knight will not only help you Summon powerful Synchro Monsters from your Extra Deck, but it’ll also weaken an opponent’s monster in the process.

If you use Quick-Span Knight to help Synchro Summon Hyper Psychic Blaster, you’ll be set to obliterate your opponent regardless of the position of the monsters on his or her field. If your opponent has an Attack Position monster, Quick-Span Knight’s effect will weaken that monster before your Hyper Psychic Blaster attacks it. If your opponent has a Defense Position monster, Hyper Psychic Blaster will be able to inflict piercing damage by battling that monster, and its effect will gain you Life Points.
