Doesn't the legendary fisherman receives bonus from "umi"?

I've put one legendary fisherman on camp with an umi card but haven't increase it's points, even being a water monster, is it right?

Read the card again:

"While "Umi" is on the field, this card is unaffected by Spell effects and cannot be targeted for attacks, but does not prevent your opponent from attacking you directly."

It's silly, it's stupid, but it is what it is. I guess they figured an 2050 beater that can't be attacked was too OP... yeah right lol

Glad I could help. There are some other monsters that are worded like this for no apparent reason, like Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 which gains no bonus from Mountain for instance.
