Ok i will be that guy, lets talk about Mage power.
So why is it that i do not ever see complaints about mage power?
The card is extremely OP and it is capable of turning almost any monster in the game into one of the best in the game but i never see any complaints about it.

And do not get me wrong i am not just angry because one random guy beat me with it, i use it so complaining about it is kinda kicking myself but still.

In my deck for an example, with Kaibas peak performance with no other cards in my trap/spell zone i can give a monster 1000 attack and defense with 1 mage power, 2 mage powers is suddenly 3000 attack and defense and if i place another card in the spell/trap zone that is 4000 attack/defense and remember you can have 3 of this card in your deck.
I have managed to make a Tyrant dragon have 9100 attack (admitted that is rare and actually a bad play but still)

Do people maybe feel that the rarity of the card justifies it?
I can understand that i guess, personally i spent a good 4000 gems getting 3 mage power and i was very lucky getting them even then considering it is 1 card out of 240 so you only have an 8/240 or 3.3% chance of getting 1 mage power for 500 gems then you have to reset the box to get another.
but then on the other end... you could spend some money and get 3 mage power pretty easily but that would be an absurd amount of money to spend on 1 card.

Heh, no. Not only that it isn't overpowered, it isn't even a good card. The card in question is a generic atk-boosting equip spell that is barely useful in singleplayer and can be countered with ease in PvP.

It does have its place in meme decks and below Platinum, I guess.

If you say so lol
I have two Mage Powers in my main deck but they feel far from invincible as many players have that trap that can flip my monsters down, or various other cards to just destroy the monster like Trecherous Trap Hole, Amazoness Onslaught, and Recon. It works out for me because I use the skill Power of the Dark, getting that extra 500+ from Yami being out, but in most decks, it's probably better to just have some extra traps instead. Mage Power is still central to my deck though as my monsters are fairly basic, beatdown, and I have no cards to retrieve anything out from my Graveyard. When I played the physical card game years back, I remember Mage Power and United We Stand were both limited to one per deck, but now, they aren't really as superpowered as they used to be with newer cards available to counter them. If it was limited, I could just switch back to One-Shot Wands or change my deck strategy. Back to Mage Power though, in many duels, it's all I have out on my field so it's not so overwhelming half the time I play it. It's one of the few ways I can fight against fusion monsters that come out with over 3000 ATK. So even if I had three in my deck, it would only bring me closer to fighting on unsloped ground against meta decks.

That's been my experience with it anyways. I never see anyone else using it so I'm assuming there could be a reason for this.

I guess there is some built in balance with it, the card certainly does not work with all decks.

Cause it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ equip spell that relies on either on traps or continuous cards to be viable.

Not only that, but it's an equip spell meaning it can easily be disrupted. Since the most common trap cards are either flip monsters face down or destroy two.

Watt Cube is a better equip.

Mage-power is just too weak. 1500Atk is nothing, And it clockes your spell/trapzone and doesnt allow you to use the others or you will get a heay drop. In this current state many cards get destroyed by effects. So it isnt usefull at all. To make matters worse if you get a bad hand (only magepower as spell/trapcard) its worst card ever. And it can be only used on your turn and only on face-ups
