So, our lovely Red Dragon Archfiend is an UR in a main box, all good, but now they release it as a Structure Deck card, that you can get for 1k gems?

Now, before some people will jump on with "but Silent Magician Lv 8 is also an UR in a box and also part of a structure deck, so what's your issue?"

First: Silent Magician Lv 8 is from an 80 pack mini-box, with only 2 UR, Red Dragon Archfiend is in a main box, with 200 packs and 9 UR, so even assuming you get both in the very last pack of the box (I got my RDA in that very last pack), assuming you have an equal amount of gems at the start of both unboxings, you would have gems worth of 120 more packs after you get Silent Magician Lv 8.

Second: Silent Magician Lv 8's deck, Spellbound Silence, can't be obtained via gems. Simple as that, sure, she's in a Structure Deck, but, you can't pay gems for it, you have to pay real money to get it.

Third: She's not generic. You either play Silent Magician or Silent Magician Lv 4, or you can't use her, but Red Dragon Archfiend? You can synchro for 8? You can use it.

Back to the subject, I for one don't see it fair, tho it's not because the card is in the deck, but the way the deck is priced. Again, RDA is part of a main box, as an UR, along 8 other UR cards. The deck should've either costed 1500 or more gems OR should simply be without the option to buy it for gems. It would've been fair like that.

Oh, and did I mention, Powerful Rebirth is also in that deck? Another powerful generic card, especially in synchro based decks.

The Gem price is just too low for the deck to contain the 2 cards.

Being able to get these cards is great in my eyes because now I don't need to open bad boxes for decent cards.The only cards worth getting in the Absolute Inferno box are the yubel support cards. (Nephthys)

i have an idea for you, get the structure x3 then convert rda and go dig it in the box.
thats how the game works in real life too, you get a reprint with an easier way to get the card that previously was hard to get. how exactly would new players get to even grounds without reprints from old or discontinued boxes(irl).

I think you need a new definition of salty. If I was as salty you seem to believe, I'd cry how it's not fair that people get it without opening the box, etc, etc.

It could cost you 9000 or 50 gems, it's all on RNG, so your point doesn't stand. I said 1500 as I believe that would've been a fairer price for that deck, since you know, RDA is not the only good card in that deck, and I think I even mentioned that in the OP.

Also, here's a question for you. Why wouldn't it been better to have one of RDA's variants that treat themselves as him? You get the same thing basically, on a better card, and RDA remains the same rarity as he should was.

I need to get 3x of those so I can potentially build a pure Parshath deck worth using. Use his 4 stars with Zeradias to have an alternate summon condition for Parshath synchro if I can't get off Rebirth.
