Quick Question: What is the difference between Structure Deck and Structure Deck EX

Just wondering when going to shop and seeing decks with EX and no EX.
So what is the difference between these two decks? Why do they sometimes put EX after it?

EX' are supposed to be "slightly" better and more versatile

EX is supposed to be better, but if you look at the most recent 2 they are even worse than the early regular structure decks
