On your next turn (or when you have a normal summon to use), you can click on your gemini monster on the field and choose "normal summon". That way, you can "summon" it again; It ceases to be a Normal monster and becomes an Effect monster, with the effects listed on the card.
there are workarounds though, superalloy, special summoning and spells etc.
If you're interested in support cards there's an equip spell available from the card trader called Supervise, which you equip to a Gemini monster to gain its effect straight away, and when the equip spell is sent to the graveyard you can special summon a normal monster from your graveyard (all Geminis are treated as normal in the GY)
Spell cards like Double Summon and Herculean Power also help you swarm the field with Gemini's, but it may not be the best use of gems to chase these cards at the moment.
