Dark World Bug

I'm trying to keep this topic up to see if anyone who may be messing around with dark world has the same issue cause I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere. This is a problem not only on the PC version but on my phone app version as well. Ceruli of dark world's effect no longer resolves properly.

This is a screenshot from a duel with an NPC, when discarded he is special summoned to MY side of the field and not the opponent's anymore. This fundamentally breaks dark world deck and makes it completely useless as ceruli being special summoned to your opponent's side of the field to discard your Reign is its most powerful combo and it no longer works. This isn't JUST on PC, this happens when I play on my phone to.

Okay its good to know I'm not the only one. The fact it's on both PC and the phone app version is very frustrating! this deck was ridiculously hard to put together. I hope they fix it, I just was worried no one would notice cause very few people bother with dark world.

Also, are you sure that you might actually be playing the wrong cards, some discard effects dont activate from Costs.

2. it's not a bug, because "Discard" effects are NOT THE same, i mean, "discarding" is different from "sending from the hand the graveyard", much like how destroying is different from sending from the field to the graveyard.

It does not include costs that require the user to discard, such as "Lightning Vortex" or effects that send cards from the hand to the Graveyard, without discarding, such as "Hand Destruction".

No, those are the same thing. The difference if it's done by effect, cost, or game mechanic.

i played about 30 games against level 10 ai TODAY ;D it was fun, idk why but Dark World deck is so relaxing. I think it's a great deck, but VERY expensive I spent.. idk maybe 40,000+ gems on dark word deck.

this deck is working great in auto duels too against level 57 AI

No you're wrong,

A card that states "Send 1 card from your hand to the GY, and if you do, draw 1 card."

Is not the same as "Discard 1 card from your hand to the GY, and if you do, draw 1 card."

For a card to be able to discard, it must STATE discard in the text.

And that isn't going into cost and effects.

"Into the Void" is working with almost all Dark World cards.

"Sniper Hunter" is NOT working with Dark World cards.

"Trance Archfiend" is working with ALL Dark World cards.

Dark World cards are not like "The Fabled Ganashia", which would work with ALL "Discard" effects.
