Results Booster and other boosters

I just recently started playing and I'm trying to unlock Crow for the few Blackwing cards he is dropping. I can get my score up to a bit over 4000 on the security NPC, but those last 1000 points are nearly impossible for me at the moment.

I've seen talk about these crystal boosters, and one that give 1000 extra result points. How can I purchase these boosters? Have they been removed since the last event?

You can usually get a few freebies during the major events (by getting a certain amount of event points). More can be bought at the Card Trader EX (a five-pack) in exchange for the currency you can get from Duels or Lottery duting the event.

Also, an event that grants a 1K Duel Assessment bonus is not at all uncommon. It could be coming real soon.

I don't have an egyptian god card because, as I said, I just recently started playing. I missed the Ra event a few months back. Still leaves me down quite a bit of points that I wanted to replace with a booster.

Yeah, there has to be another way outside of trying to get a God Card out, considering many of us still have no way of getting 3 monsters on the field without extreme luck, let alone getting the God Card drawn as well...

What about Slifer and Strings? I thought it's a permanent event. If you see Strings in Duel World, he drops Slifer God card upon losing.

You also might try fighting until you have 1 card left in the deck, and allow him attack you first, so if you will win the game while having lower LP than the opponent at the start of the turn, you will get a Comeback Victory with some extra points.

If i am not mistaken both Ra and Slifer are obtainable by defeating Strings for Slifer and Marik for Ra (could be wrong on this one) - so I would be looking at getting those cards first and then try again^^

5ds world's drops are not that good, if you start from DM they give out useful cards that are used a lot, GX world might be good too if you can farm for fusions or rituals to make somewhat a decent deck vs npc.

Slifer is obtained by beating Strings in DM and Ra can be obtained by beating Yami Yugi using Yami Marik after unlocking him at the gate.

If you have no means of getting either one, you can get that extra 1000 by winning the duel with 100 LP left (LP on the brink) or by winning on the same turn that you draw the last card in your deck (Cards on the brink). Either one gives you 1000. Also winning by dealing only effect damage gives you 1000 as well.

As for dealing over 5000 damage in one attack, there are plenty of other cards that gain attack to hit that as well. Millennium Scorpion is a good card for this since he is a Lv5 that gains 500 attack for every monster he destroys.

Getting the scorpion might be kinda difficult, but as an alternative you might consider Greed Quasar, it gets ATK 300 x lvl of the destroyed monster, and is a Normal rarity card from the Empire of Scarlet mini box.

Any farmign deck with Gravekeeper's Vassal, Union Attack(2x), and Secret pass to treasure.

If you have any SR tickets with Union Attack as option, you should get them as almost all farming decks use Union attack engine.
