Increase deck and extra-deck size?

I've noticed six unusable slots under my main deck, and an additional seven in my extra deck, I'm assuming this indicates some means to increase the number of avaliable slots at some point? I can't imagine a reason to include those graphic elements if they serve absolutely no purpose... I've searched through all manner of forums and online resources but my results have been inconclusive to say the least, does anyone have some insight for me?

Probably placeholders for character skills that add cards in-game (Grandpa Cards/Dragonic Fusion).

Well why not?, this format is based on speed format from yugiohs vrains, and if someone already watch the anime, should probably notice that playmaker have a infinite main deck/extra deck

Well that seems like an odd way to format something usually only in effect during games when a skill activates...

um you can increase your extra deck if u synchro summon 100 times you get 1 slot and if u XYZ summon 100 times you get another I hope it helped :)
