Vagabond pick up card?
Why do some show "pick up" cards. They dont seem to be the reward for winning the challenge since I still dont have a magician of chaos after winning one before so what is this?

But why was it named "pick up card" then? It's retarded and confusing! Every normal person would think you will get this card if you somehow manage to win against this overpowered challenge! A shame, it seems to be useless to fight against him. It's nearly impossible to win, and if you win then you don't even get any kind of special reward.

It's the card you can pick up to look at, usually the rarest monster in their deck, and it *can* give you an idea of what you're up against.

The special reward you get is MORE EXP.

As if one would need any more sources of EXP. There are enough standard duelists, event duelists, legendary duelists, real duelists (PVP) or friends to duel against. Even with 10 hours of playing daily, you are kept busy with more than enough duelists to duel against. EXP everywhere. EXP isn't a "reward" in my eyes -.-*

Ehm...EXP is what you need to level up chars, in order to gain other rewards, like gems, gold, cards, skills, etc. So actually, it IS a reward. In fact the most basic one there is.

Its not near impossible to defeat them, but even if you lose you get more exp than from other sources, so its pretty useful.

The Vagabond is exceptionally easy to defeat so long as you don't try and run a meta "big brain" deck to defeat him every time, use decks that match the challenge with the exception of course, starting with 1 card in hand however, this can still be overcome with Montage Dragon to a point, use a Montage Dragon deck with Montage as the only earth monster and use draw sense earth, take the 1800 (?) Damage required for the skill to pop (hope you don't get OTK'd) then continue as normal and hold on to your butts and watch for traps.

The pick up card is the monster with the highest level or ATK in the main deck. It wont show anything in the extra deck. If two monsters are tied, like Magician of Chaos and Dark Magician, it'll show the more "powerful" one.
