skill drains
with the current sylvan meta still going strong even with the new amazon meta, i think it is time to add skill drain to the game
a lot of the backrow destruction come from monster effects so it would be viable
also with beast king barbaros and maybe king barbaros ur (limited to 1 and maybe its attack nerfed a little)
and the other generic machine and best monster with effects from hand and negative effect on the field

wont be that good against amazoness or other deck who rely heavily on traps but other than that it could be usable in the meta.
can prevent anki of doing a direct attack, can slow down and even tank the high attack of cyber dancer
would hit hard hazy however

there will be always something that wins more than the rest and will be always someone that whines about it.

Honestly, Skill Drain, and other choice carrds should've been in the game long ago. It's surprising it isn't, alongside things like Final Attack Orders.

jinzo would be cool to counter amazoness and water decks

Ahh Jinzo. I like him even as an enemy

Skill Drain should've been in the game, seeing as decks now focus a lot more on monster effects(like modern yugioh) and s/t are just protection or helping with consistency.

Nah Konami adding card packs at least twice a month along with events is kinda the problem. Way too many cards too quick so people dont have time to experiment and flesh out other decks. Why spend a month making Insect Beater good when you can just play Sylvans.

That and Konami have been adding archtypes practically completed, so there is no need to "work" on a solid deck of that archtype. All the cards necessary are already in the game. Imagine if Sylvans were spread out over 2-3 packs. The player would actually have to make decisions on what ressources to put into a deck with what is available. Genuinely surprised there have been any nerfs/banns at all honestly

i mean, what will be next? at this point the meta is so strong it pretty much end with your starting hand in 2 turns.
they added stuff to strong to fast, take the spellbook, whats the point in investing in that when you have the easy cheap sylvans. mushroom should be ur and all sylvans should be in a big pack, but its to late

they really should add some gishki cards, they could be good in meta.
right now they take a ridiculous amount of gems to get the most needed stuff like 3x gishki chain
