Nah Konami adding card packs at least twice a month along with events is kinda the problem. Way too many cards too quick so people dont have time to experiment and flesh out other decks. Why spend a month making Insect Beater good when you can just play Sylvans.
That and Konami have been adding archtypes practically completed, so there is no need to "work" on a solid deck of that archtype. All the cards necessary are already in the game. Imagine if Sylvans were spread out over 2-3 packs. The player would actually have to make decisions on what ressources to put into a deck with what is available. Genuinely surprised there have been any nerfs/banns at all honestly
they added stuff to strong to fast, take the spellbook, whats the point in investing in that when you have the easy cheap sylvans. mushroom should be ur and all sylvans should be in a big pack, but its to late
they really should add some gishki cards, they could be good in meta.
right now they take a ridiculous amount of gems to get the most needed stuff like 3x gishki chain
