also to top it off. multiple new monster destruction methods are going ballistic ( as clearly seen with syvalians or however they are spelt )
dont blame the crystal beasts, blame konami for once again. releasing monsters ahead of their time AND making the power creep hang around an average of 2900 ATK for monsters in duels these days. IN duel links. alot of us came here to escape all of the meta stuff in current yu-gi-oh yet its steadily coming here, and konami wont do crap all abot it case so many people just whale it (spend large amounts of money etc on the new meta decks and smash everyone) even if you dont whale it, the cheap decks are now smashing everything and alot of effort that people put into making new decks/stratergies has gone completely out the window.
That's the reason I started Duel Links, and Konami is making me consider leaving once more. However, I am holding on and waiting for the Synchro Era, simply because that was my Golden Age for Yugioh.
In a non dedicated rainbow dragon deck you basically focus on peagsus.
Even when these guys were released in the tcg, they were bad.
The power creep does play a factor, but a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ archetype is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ archetype.
Not THOSE Xyz monsters, you are thinking of the LIGHT union monsters, not the monster card type he meant.
Right now we got Gravi Crush Dragon and Magna Slash Dragon and that's kinda it, although they are decent given the deck.
Once Hamon is added, they finally have something more beastly.
