I do agree Konami does many bad things. Drop rates for SR cards are low, they screwed with gem drop rates as well (before, every duplicated skill would always give 15 gems. Now, it can drop between 5, 10 or 15). Not to mention that ridiculous wall to not allow f2p players to buy all the cards from the selection box.
However, and this is the key part, two wrongs don't make a right.
Duel link is not perfect? of course
because this game does not live to your expectation so have the right to mod it? nope
No matter how you look, this game still belongs to konami and they have all the rights to say "no to mod" in their game
I really hope there are people who actually got banned just because the use of pve mod. When they defend their cause with a huge wall of text. I'll be reading it with my popcorn and laughing that crap out loud
Konami cheated me out of Metal Gear Solid 6. I don't really care about this.
Gamer PoV: It's a F2P game, so of course there's gonna be a hell of a grind if you're not P2W. Micro Transactions exist to keep the F2P games afloat. Look at TF2 for example, more people have the Mann Co. hat (proof you actually bought something from the store) than you think. My Steam username reflects the fact that I wear the Gibus. You would think I was an F2P player, but I painted mine. Paints cost money.
YGO player POV: Good decks cost money for the actual TCG. People buy packs of cards and starter decks to get cards they want. Now there's sites that are dedicated to selling specific cards, but the old methods will never go away. Hell, I bought the Link Strike starter deck to get Decode Talker for my Blackwings deck. And I used to buy packs on occassion when I had the extra money. I love YGO, both the anime and the TCG. I even have Legacy of the Duelist on my PS4. I have a few of the older games too (and I think Konami needs to make a new one for the current format). And yes, I bought DLC in the console games to get certain cards. It's how I ran a somewhat decent Elemental Hero deck in Decade Duels Plus (I was against Syncro Summoning back in the day).
My point, Yu-Gi-Oh was never a free game to play, even if it's digital (unless it's YGO Pro) or analog. Yeah, Konami wants us to buy things with actual money. They make it more difficult for us in Duel Links to get ahead if we don't use Micro Transactions. Personally, I think it's fair. We should be thankful that the game is even F2P in the first place. Yeah, it's a grind. But it's what we get for not paying. Besides, it feels nice to win duels in PVP with cards you earned.
You cannot play it anymore... that was 10-15 years ago... and it was shut down after several years...
I found this link where the game was described...
At that time you had to buy Duel passes to play duels... and they had cool weekly tournaments... Gunslinger (for each consecutive win (each loss resets you to 1) you got better cards) and championship, where it was a K.o. system over 8 brackets, and you got exclusive cards if you win... and everyone couuld watch it...

>higher chance of card/skill drops without putting any effort
>Using the card/skill for PVP
>Somehow people says it doesn't affect PVP
No one is claiming it doesn't affect PvP. Like I said in my previous post, I don't condone the use of cheats/hacks in PvE but the real issue here is the cheating that is going on during PvP.
I understand your frustration but I truly believe you guys are arguing over nonsense. You have no way of knowing whether or not your opponent acquired his cards and skills in a legitimate way and even if he didn't it doesn't prevent you from winning the duel in spite that.
normal player vs cheater vs p2w and always RNG win, since you can open 1 pack and get card you wanted or open 100 packs and still get nothing.
i also noticed when im trying hard to get highscore with odion scorpion farming deck i get crap drops, and when i'm not even trying i get ur from duelists... in 3-4 rewards
>Using money to buy prismatics and stack your farm deck to get 8k point instantly
>higher chance of card/skill drops without putting any effort
>Using the card/skill for PVP
>Somehow people says it doesn't affect PVP
Same thing yet people are somehow ok with this get real. And like the other guy said that doesn't stop you from winning the duel.
