More likely the ban is underway already (see warning sent to cheaters by Konami thread), and he wants to abuse it one more time and rip people of by selling a soon to be banned account!
Of course selling an account is forbidden, in case you ignore common sense and the rules!

Absolutely. Selling of game accounts is TOTALLY against the ToS (Terms of Service) and would immediately would lead to an game ban of the account you're trying to sell.

z4un, I suggest not to because of that very reason.

No its not... selling an online account is not illegal nobody in their right mind would humor that claim because it is ONLY able to be made on the basis that violating a ToS is a criminal offence in and of itself (arguing it violates the computer fraud and abuse act) however nobody in their right mind would actually entertain it because among other things it means not using your legal name on most sites is a criminal act (despite being what the FBI has been on record advocating to lessen the chance of identity theft), using a bad word = a several year prison sentence,etc. What you are factually doing is selling access to your account which is a ToS violation not a criminal act, there is also no way it would work in civil court because they would have to prove damages occurred. The reality is that being banned is the most likely outcome since its the only pragmatic legal option sites have.

Heh. I do not see it as being against the rules this thing in reality, more like the rules against the consumer(if that's true) cause it's his account to do whatever he/she wants with it. he/she should have the right to sell for it or not, however there should of be an electronic check about selling accounts to not get abused on it as ojama king said.
