Couldn't Fusion Summon
So I had used Fusion Recovery to try and get Elemental Hero Neos Knight, so I picked Neos but it would never let me fusion summon it even though I have all the requirements for Elemental Hero Neos Knight (yes I had Polymerization). From what I saw the enemy didn't ahve anything on the field to prevent me from using spells so what gives. Is there some Neos Knight bug?

Okay it seems the Polymerization in my hand is the bug, gotten a Wildedge opportunity and it wouldn't let me fusion that

It was a Vagabond so no replay, but I do have 2 screenshots. This one is basically after the turn I used Fusion Recovery to get Neos, on the same turn I used it had just drew Polymerization. You can tell its a turn after because I had summoned that Clayman last turn and now I can put it in attack mode

Against Vagabond... ...do you remember what the rules were for the game? You may have hit the one where there are no special summons, which would include not being able to fusion summon.

That's the same conclusion I'm coming up with.

Lol that explains everything, cause all I get is the stupid special summon, although why does fusion summon count as a special summon?
could it be that the vagabonds challenge was you can't special summon?

bc everything except normal, flip and tribute summon is a special summon.

Because that's what it is. XD Pretty much any form of summoning that isn't a normal or flip summon is a form of special summon. So basically if you run into that one again, might as well pretend your extra deck is non-existent.

All this time i thought extra deck stuff was.... extra summoning instead of Special. Well now I know and knowing is half the duel, besides now I just need to figure out why I have gotten Cannot Special Summon for the past 3 days as the Vagabond. What are the odds of that?

Luck of the draw I guess? I certainly hate getting that one since... pretty much all my decks revolve around synchro or fusion. Well, there's a couple that don't, but they have their own special summon things going on and... yea. XD

If nothing else though, and your "luck" with getting that one continues, you can always back out and build a deck that doesn't involve special summoning and use that to kick his butt. :-P

I mean tbh the person's deck I was fighting was pretty meh, it was basically a Psychic The Light Ruler deck, it utilized The Light Ruler and Arcana Magician, thats why he had 3 of those Psychic Trackers out at the end, too bad they kept using Psychokinesis and some other card that did self damage. And luckily once you realize that whenever the bot is below 1000 they won't attack anything Set unless they have a 2000 or above attack monster. Poor thing couldn't even manage to summon its Light Ruler
