Is there a method to get the uncensored game on steam or android?

I've tried changing everything to Japanese, but it didn't work. I was actually able to ask someone who is literally in Japan if it could be uncensored by downloading from a server over there, and he said it still was censored. I don't want to change my flag, and I don't believe it would even work. Can someone tell me if changing your country to Japan makes it download uncensored content? You might think I'm doing this to get the harpies, but what's actually driving me crazy is Yubel. She's one of my favorite characters, and her avatar is censored for no reason. I know her card is always censored, but the avatar shouldn't be. Does anyone have any idea how to get the censorship to go away without breaking the rules? Also I want to know if changing countries is against the rules. I will try to get dual citizenship someday, and I want to know if my account will ever have uncensored cards and avatars. I put way too much time into my profile to replace it.

it's against the rules, well in theory at least, don't know if anyone ever got banned for this prob not, anyways it's not possible to uncensor your game by utilizing a patch or something, you can download the japanese gamefiles and overwrite yours but the only thing that does is causing a redownload of all the files the only thing staying japanese are voicelines, what you can do however is use a vpn set it to japan delete the game redownload it and download all the gamefiles through the vpn as well BUT you have to do this after every single patch and it's against the steam TOS to do this, on your phone no one cares i guess.

I tried that on my phone, but the thing got downloaded with censorship simply because I had an American account. I wouldn't try it on steam, because like you said it is against the tos. I'm assuming that if one has US and Japanese citizenship they won't mind me setting it to Japanese.

yea i know the problem you have i was trying the exact same thing, i think someone found a workaround for this tho, delete the app completely and download the app while using a vpn as well, also create a new appstore account, i dunno if you have android you can just make a second gmail account and set your marketplace to japan as well, this is how i got my japanese version of GFL, can't confirm nor deny if this works for DL tho, as for the konami id just log in while being on a vpn backup your save again and then try to link the savefile, this should work, in theory at least if it doesn't you can still try to copy all the japanese files but like i said you'd need to re-do that every single patch afaik also you need to be able to read japanese bc the japanese version doesn't have english text.

I guess I'm going to have to learn Japanese before attempting this. This is miserable. I'm going to just make a Japanese account someday if all else fails.

well if you only care about ranked then you prob know most of the cards anyways only gets hard if they introduce cards you don't know :D anyways maybe Konami will release a uncensored version at one point or another, i highly doubt it given that they still censor the TCG but well hope dies last i guess.

i was under impression that he wants only the voices being japanese, on mobile you can have japanese voice and can have english text.

i was under impression that he wants only the voices being japanese, on mobile you can have japanese voice and can have english text.

nah he/she wants uncensored cards, mats and sleeves etc. and afaik you only get those if you have japanese text as well bc the cards + text are stored as image files and as soon as you change to english it downloads the international version of those cards aka the censored version, so you have to play entirely in japanese or accept that you have to use the censored cards.
