BUT
5 7 9 ... bots the more you gain stage level ,)
after _ i dont really know if it is because i've reached lvl30 but since then i encounter some nasty bots like 'clownz' and 'reverse bonus' decks which are real crash tests for autoplay and decks
so _ i no more farm with bots except with real secure decks [alien deck , 6sam deck] , bots are mostly interesting for the quests .
if you really want to farm (xp items ..etc) duel gate is FAR better , only problem ^^ you have to play by yourself ;)))
GL HF
In other words ...what stage are you on right now?
sometimes i have the level up but i keep it like it was a duel orb ,)
I was asking marc though ...but yeah, I havent completed DM 43 yet myself. I'm not ready for the AI to change decks again.
Okay, yeah, most of the decks arent terribly threatning at that level, so long as you know how to fight them of course.

Challenge (well more or less): AI duelists are never really hard to beat, unless we're talking about the "Master of Oz" AI bc f*ck that, borderline broken to start off with at least one 4.2k ATK beater + a De-Fusion, like c'mon, anyways, overall it's pretty easy, you can check their decklists online and they don't surprise you w/ some random bs.
Deck testing: As some have pointed out you can't really test decks in PvP anymore, unless you hit KoG, since some people even run high tier meta decks in casual duels, so a more challenging AI can be a substitute for that.
They're still Auto-Duel-able: If you run a good auto duel deck, there are plenty of those out there, check GameA, Reddit or even here, my Aromage deck f.e. works perfectly fine against Stage 60 AI while using Auto-Duel and maintains a 80% winrate minimum even tho for the most part i duel myself to test decks and combos w/o time limit pressure.
and most importantly Gems: if you don't advance through stages you miss out on a sh*tton of gems, if we talk OG YGO Stage 32 to 40 alone you miss out on 695 gems (this is not an estimate, i did the math) and there are 60 stages total, well 59, 60 just gives you an icon for some stupid reason.
Please don't take this as critique or anything, i'm not judging, my intend was to just show off that there might be some positives to advancing the stages, if they're worth it or not is up to you to decide but yea, also to answer your question, the stage to stop would be once you unlock 10 SD's, can't remember which one that was but if you have 10 Duelists already, then stay there and if you don't progreess through the stages until you have 10.
^^This
My thoughts exactly, i agree that the stage you are at makes zero difference to the farming difficulty unless people are speaking about the decks that the bots use, in which case (To my knowledge) the only world that effects these levels, is the original YuGiOh DW, level up in there and the deck level across all worlds will rise.
If you want to farm (For exp) then at any point during the game you can just obliterate the Lv.10 characters at the gate set at x3 rewards 1500 exp a pop 2250 if the exp event is on.
